The Diary Game: Attending Our Priest's Induction Service And Hanging Out With My Family [26/04/2026]

Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, @megareigns. And in today's diary, I will be sharing how my Sunday looked like. Okay, the thing is, I had fun and here is it.

Today, I went to church quite early from the usual time I do go to church. It was our Priest's induction service and it was a very colourful service. Before I went to church, the whole place had been decorated with fine linens. I had my seat and after that, the procession took place and we stood up for the choristers and the priests to process in.

When they had processed in, the greeting song was sang and we all greeted ourselves as one body in Christ and then the boys brigade came to do their parade because our priest is their coordinator.

It was really fascinating to see that. After their flags were being hand over, we sang the first hymn for the sermon and then there we had our seat. Our priest has been here with us for over 1 year and today, we came to do his induction and made sure we made him join our fold fully.

After the hymn was sang, the Priest was being processed into the church with the company of other priests and well wishers. This was a moment we all had to pay our solemn respect for our Priest. When that had finished, he was reintroduced to us again.

He was the one that handled the service and the sermon for the day. He preached with so much passion and you could see the raw truth from what he was saying. I really loved how he took his time to give out the sermon just the way He should. When he finished preaching, the offering was taken and some offerings were taken for him.

After the service, I stayed back in church and participated in the refreshments that they gave us. After eating, I let the house and then I went to back to the house. Immediately I got back home, my siblings called me and asked if I would be able to come with them to my sister's house that just gave birth to a bouncing baby girl.

I told her that definitely, I was going to and fot real, I went there. I paid motorcycle to take me to that part of the community where I would see them. It's been long I used a bike and the experience was great. When I met them, they were so happy to see me, so was I.

We stayed at my sister's place and she gave us white soup and we ate it with fufu. The food was so delicious and especially that protein filled everywhere. After I finished eating the cumbersome food, I still asked for me and they kept bringing it.

When t was time to go back home, I took my family to go buy something for them. There was this spot where they sell chicken and there I bought chicken for everybody before I went back to the house.

When I came back home, I saw my clothes and they were already packed well, I asked who did so far for me and my neighbor and. Till my next diary, guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there. Much love from me to you all.
