The Diary Game: Shopping At The Market And Cooking [05/06/2026]

Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly, @megareigns and in today's episode, I want to share briefly how my day went. First off, how are you all doing and hanging on? I hope you are trying all you can to stay sane in this insane world? I am rooting for you all.

So, this morning, I was already up and looking at my kitchen, there was nothing for me to eat and begining to think of what to prepare was another big job on it own, so I took the early morning to arrange the house and keep it tidied. When I finished, I got dressed and I went to the market to go do some shopping.

When I got inside the market, I went on to shop for food items. The plan was to cook afang soup but it's not been long I finished eating afang soup, so I had to just scrap that off and prepare something else. I opted on to prepare bitter leaf soup with melon. I stayed one place and made the list to contain the budget I took to the market. When I finished making the list, I began to buy the ingredients.

When I finished shopping, I went back home and you know, with how tired I was, I came back and tested small so that when I wake up, I will just start cooking immediately. When I resting, I started washing the protein source and the water leaves so that I could cook and eat.

When I had finished putting everything in place, I began to cook the soup. I don't know, but I feel like there is nothing that would make me to eat out for the whole day, I just find it weird, and I don't know how those that are doing that comfortable with the whole thing.

After I finished cooking, I ate the food and I rested. When I stood up from the place I was resting, I washed the dirty played and then I went on to go and bath because it was late, this was already some minutes to 2pm and I had some work to do before nightfall.

When I came out of the bathroom, I just used towel and cleaned myself and then I went to my work table, work had began and I didn't want to finish up late. I selected the products I needed to post for the day and after that, I began to promote them. It's always a bitter sweet experience and honestly, I get the point and that's why I am always patient with myself.

When I finished, I took my nap, it was a short one and when I finished, I went on to go and work. Though I had some products to promote, I had to attend to some students who needed my help urgently. When I finished, I took my bath and then I went outside to go and stay. I withdrew small money so that I could buy medication. I have been suffering from cough these days and I needed to get the medication for it.

When I bought the drugs, I went inside and I took them, I ate small because it's not good to take any medication without eating. After that, I wore back my clothes so I could go to the field to go and watch football.

I left the house and I went to the field, the weather was getting dark and dark, it wasn't even late evening by this time but the weather had changed signaling that there will be rainfall. I stayed at the field and was watching the football. The match was between Nnung Amum vs Nnung Iyiōn. It was a very tensed match but Nnung Amum won by 2 goals to nill.

After the match ended, I wanted going back home, then the heavy downpour happened. The entire placed was soaked up with rain water. I couldn't even step my foot into the rain, so I had to find a shade to stay. I stayed with the motorcyclist on their share and then I watched the rain soaked others who went inside the rain.

When I stepped out after the rain had calmed down, I came back home and then I warmed the soup I prepared in the morning time. After that, I had a class with my students which lasted for two hours. After that, I took my bath and then I came to come share my daily activities with everyone. Till my next diary, guys, do well to take care of yourselves and stay safe out there.
