The Diary Game: (21/06/26) Celebrating Father's Day in Church and Enjoying the Rest Of My Day

Hi guys good day and welcome to another episode of my diary game with mjeelifestyle, thank you for always staying with me. How was your day y'all? Mine was awesome and here is a full recap of how my Sunday went. So I was staying over at my friend's place over the weekend If you have been following up on my blogs and today we went to church to worship. I woke up at 6am because she planned on attending second service, I had brushed my teeth, had my bath and she did same. For breakfast she served me some rice and stew and I hurried over my meal because she had finished eating and was doing her make-up. I'm not a make-up person so after eating I got dressed and was ready to go.

We took a cab down to the church my friend worships, for security purpose the Uber passed through different post where the car was properly checked and we were searched also, it's very bad that this is how insecurity in Nigeria have become that churches are taking precautions. We got into church just in time as the first service was over and it was time for the second service. Praise and worship session was awesome and every other activities. Today is father's day and the fathers were specially celebrated when it was time and I loved how joyous the moment was. Happy father's day to all the amazing fathers in the world.

Church was over in no time and we ordered an Uber, we made a quick stop at a fast food spot to get some vegetable soup and swallow. My friend didn't want the stress of cooking because she had some work to attend to and meet deadline, she works remotely and work were pilling up. I had suggested we buy ingredients and I'll cook but she insisted that I'm her visitor and she doesn't want to stress me. So for lunch she got some vegetable soup with eggs and garri, we had to make extra swallow that would be enough for the both of us. Please pardon the egg, it wasn't my idea but my friend's as she claimed it is for her weight lost hahaha
When we got home the was no power supply and the weather had changed and looked gloomy so we put on the generator because inside of the house was looking dark even tho it was still 2pm. Eventually it didn't rain and the weather brighten up after a while.

After eating I layed down to rest while my friend was working. I slept till around 4pm and spent the rest of the evening chilling with my girlfriend and gisting. We didn't go out again, we just stayed indoors for the rest of the day. I had initially planned on going back to my place today but changed my mind, I will go back tomorrow then get dressed and head to work.
For dinner I made some spicy pepper soup noodles with vegetable leaf for the both of us and trust me it was really delicious, my friend kept hyping me up and complimenting the food.

I enjoyed the rest of my day and can't believe that weekend is over already argh, truly weekend don't last at all.
