My diary post - Car Wash, Hunger Pains & PES Night Battles - 11/04/2026

Hey guys, hope your day went well.
It’s @praizclassic1, welcome to my diary game… today came with its own stress and small wins, let me tell you how it went.

My day started in the most straightforward way possible — work first, feelings later.

I was outside early washing the car. No big story here, just me, water, soap, and the usual tired body trying to wake up. You know that kind of morning where you’re not even fully active yet, but you’re already doing something serious. I just kept going, rinsing, scrubbing, moving around the car slowly until it started looking clean again. Nothing deep, just one of those “this has to be done” moments.

But the real problem started immediately after… hunger.

I don’t know how to explain it properly, but the hunger I woke up with felt like I didn’t eat the night before. Not normal hunger — the aggressive type that doesn’t even allow you think straight

So I made yam and palm oil sauce. No long process, just something quick to settle the situation. And honestly, it did the job perfectly. That first few bites? Immediate relief. My body just relaxed like “okay, we can function again.”

After that, I got ready to head out with my brother. He’s preparing his new place, so we had to go fix the blinds we picked up earlier.

On the way there, it was just a normal ride. Nothing dramatic, just moving through the day, thinking about random things like how fast money goes and how there’s always something to do.

When we got there, we faced the actual work — installing the blinds.
What sounds simple is not always simple. One person is holding something, another is adjusting, you measure, you fix, you remove, you fix again. That kind of back-and-forth until it finally sits properly.

Somewhere in between all that, my brother decided to get a haircut.
Man just switched from “let’s work” mode to “let me look fresh” like nothing happened.
Well, we were almost done and twas getting late so in other to catch up with the queue that exist on Saturday in the barber's shop. Finished not long after he left, met up with him at the barbing saloon.

Later on, football came and did what it knows how to do best — stress people.

Arsenal lost 2–1 at home to Bournemouth.
Not even away… at home.
They conceded first, managed to equalize, and then still allowed Bournemouth take the win. As a rival fan this kind of result is a thing of joy and good point for trolling.

Evening came, and at that point, I just needed food again.
So I made noodles. Simple, quick, no stress. Just something to eat and move on.

Then finally, the usual night routine with my brother — PES.

We played match after match. I won some, lost some, but the real highlight was me complaining non-stop.

“Why is this player moving like this?”
“Why is that pass so poor?”
“This team is so useless!”

Meanwhile, one small voice in my head kept reminding me:
you’re the one controlling them.

Which makes it even funnier because I’m basically shouting at myself.

That was how the day went — nothing extraordinary, just real life. Work, food, small movement here and there, football disappointment, and ending the day arguing with a game I’m in control of.
