The Diary Game: Doing Final Year Clearance And Meeting With Friends (27/04/2026)

One of the things that usually brings friends that have been apart for a very long time together, is something like this.

Hi everyone, welcome to another diary session with yours truly @ruthyvelly. In today's diary session, I will be sharing with you how my day went.

We graduated some months back, and after then, everyone went on their separate ways to hustle and face the labour market.

Our final result came out few weeks ago, which was why we delayed in doing the clearance. Immediately it was out, most of us agreed on the day to start it so that we can still see each other, have fun and do it together.

We started by meeting up at the school auditorium, then all of us proceeded to the cyber cafe to print out our clearance forms. After that, we went straight to our Head of Department's office to be cleared there before going to other offices, but when we got there, he wasn't around so we waited for him, while we were waiting for him, we got hungry and decided to go eat something at a nearby restaurant. When we were done, we headed back to his office and then he was on seat, so he cleared us.

We then proceeded to the library, ICT academy and most of the offices on the clearance form, and we were all cleared because no one was owing among us, though the library staffs wanted to stress us because there was a payment we were supposed to make, which we didn't pay because the school didn't make it compulsory to pay and we had no money to pay that then, but after all back and fourth they finally cleared us.

Moving forward, we got stuck at the bursary unit because they told us that our last semester result has not gotten to them, and at that moment, everyone of us were diverstated and tired because we had limited time to spend for the clearance and we were all committed to one thing or the other. We had no choice than to give up for the day and to continue the next day because it was already closing hour for offices. Despite all the stress, hot sun and disappoinments we encountered, it was really fun and we enjoyed every bit of it, though there was no time to take pictures or creater enough memories.
