Dairy Game: 12/06/2026 - The Cold Journey Home

Hello Steem-Fam! Welcome to another episode of my dairy. Today I was finally going back home to my family. I woke up a bit late and when I woke up it was very cold. It had rained the previous day so everywhere was wet and cold. The weather was still gloomy and I suspected it was going to rain again today. I continued packing my bags as I had been doing so the previous evening.

After packing my bags I was feeling a bit hungry. I didn't want to cook so I decided to eat bread and butter with soft drink. I was sure it would keep my stomach filled until after my journey. I went to buy the snack and ate it. I was already halfway through the meal before I took this picture.

After eating I took a bath and that was around when it was very dark and windy outside. I saw that it was about to rain. As soon as I finished bathing it started to rain heavily. As the rain poured I decided to lie down and continue the series I was watching. I got tired and started taking selfies.

After an hour, the rain finally stopped and I headed to the school park with my bags. The bus was quickly filled up with passengers and we got moving. But then we didn't move far before the bus suddenly stopped and it couldn't start anymore. The driver had to call another driver to come pick us up and we switched to the other bus.

The journey took about an hour and we finally got to the bus stop and I boarded a tricycle which would take me directly home. That trip took me about 25 minutes.

I finally got home and I settled in. I ate, discussed with my siblings, napped a bit and woke up. Then I started another round of discussion with my siblings again. I wanted to get all the gist and story I had missed while I was away.

As we talked I decided to undo my old cornrows. I finished up and I was very happy I was done with my old and unkempt hair. Dinner this evening was fries. I have just finished eating before I settled down to write. The day is still cold and I will sleep early. I hope tomorrow is even more wonderful for me. It was nice sharing my day with you all.
