Good day, guys and welcome to another episode of my diary session with yours truly ,@zorromusk. Sunday morning started with my phone alarm and NEPA [govern bodies responsible for providing electricity to the citizens] fighting me as usual. The Took Their Light at around 6:58am, right when I wanted to iron my shirt. I ended up using my mum's old charcoal iron --- After so much years.

Getting Ready For Church.

The smell of hot starch took me straight back to childhood.
I had indomie and fried eggs by 7:30am, but my mind was already running late.
I play a vital role in the church am the church photographer, It's my duty to take unique and outstanding photos using the camera tools.
Service starts 8am and immediately it's 8am, my church starts the service, a very disciplined place to be in.
I calculated the two Bus I entered,
the total price was #1,200 for a total of 10 minutes ride.
I trekked halfway, caught Keke(tricycle), and still walked the last street because the road around that side is inconvenient for drivers.
I entered church at 8:07am, sweating, but the ushers still smiled like I was early.

At Church with my Cool Shoes.

First thing I noticed was the choir. New drummer joined and the boy was awesome. Praise and worship carried everybody--- even those GenZ who presses their phone while the praise and worship is going on, They stop pressing their phones and danced so hard.

Beautiful View of My Church.

Our Pastor handled the word.
He preached on "Waiting Season".
I wasn't planning to take notes, but I found myself writing points on my phone.
During prayers , one aunty beside me held my hand and was shouting "Amen" for me like she knew my struggles.

My Pastor Ministering.

Trek back home was quieter. Sun was hot but there was breeze. Got home 12:40pm, dropped my Bible, and my mum already dishes rice and stew with fried plantain. I didn't even change before eating. After food, I lay on the couch and scrolled through the few pictures I snapped. Sometimes church isn't about fireworks. It's about remembering you are not going the phases of life alone. And that charcoal iron..I will definitely use it again next Sunday if NEPA likes.
