The Diary Game : A Small Decision That Helped Me Save Money. 16th , July, 2026.
Hello everyone it's yours truly joken. I hope you're all doing well. Welcome to my diary for today.
I started my day with a word of prayer, thanking God for the gift of a new day and committing everything into His hands.
After praying, I went into the kitchen and prepared a cup of tea. It was a refreshing way to begin the morning, and after enjoying it, I rested for a while before starting the day's activities.
Later, I realized that we had run out of sachet water at home. I first went to a nearby shop to buy some, but I was surprised by the price they quoted for just one bag. Instead of buying it there, I decided to go directly to the factory where the water is produced and sold in bulk.
Going the extra distance turned out to be a wise decision. The price at the factory was much more affordable, so rather than buying just one bag, I bought several bags that would last my family for a while. It was more economical, and I felt satisfied knowing I had saved money while stocking up on something we use every day.
After bringing the water home, I wanted to wash the dishes, but I realized that my dishwashing liquid had finished. I had to step out again to buy a new one before I could complete the kitchen chores.
By the time I returned home, I was already feeling tired from moving around, so I took some time to rest and regain my energy.
Later in the evening, I prepared yam burger for dinner. It came out really delicious, and I enjoyed it with my family. It was a satisfying way to end a busy but productive day.
Looking back on today, I was reminded that making thoughtful decisions about where and how we shop can help us manage our household expenses better and also save some money.
Sometimes, spending a little more time to buy directly from the source can save a significant amount of money in the long run.
Thank you for reading my diary. I appreciate your time and wish you all a wonderful and blessed day.Best Regards,
@Joken
