Hello everyone, How are you all?Today I am going to join, "SLC33 w-4 challenge .Thanks to @mahadisalim for this contest.Actually, I don't want to go into any details, so let's get straight to the main point. Let's get started.

1 Introduction:

The hospital that I have come to share with you is a 50-bed Upazila Health Complex. Apart from that, it is also known as Daganbhuiyan Government Hospital. This hospital is located a little east of Daganbhuiyan Bazar and a little inland. It is a very old institution. Although I do not know about its old history. Primary care, maternity care and emergency care are provided here for general patients. Above all, all kinds of hospital-related services are available here.

2 Location and transportation:

From the main zero point of our Daganbhuiyan Bazar to the government hospital, it is said that you can go there very easily by any rickshaw or CNG. And you can go there by rickshaw from the market for a fare of 20 taka. The public transportation system here is only rickshaws, CNG auto-powered small cars. However, there are no big buses or other facilities. And when it comes to parking, there is a huge space here. In the front part where cars can be parked, various types of cars and bicycles and motorcycles can be parked. There is a gate at the entrance. Basically, there are no instructions, but there is information about that building in front of any building.

3. Infrastructure and environment:

To be honest, even though this hospital is at the upazila level, we have a great experience in terms of cleanliness. That is, everything here is clean and there are huge buildings. Each building has a separate service. There is a waiting room in each building and a waiting room in front of each chamber. Due to which, all the patients and relatives of the patient who come can wait there. Also, there is a good arrangement of washrooms here. It is kept clean and tidy all the time. However, there is no air conditioning. Only the seating areas are arranged outside and there is normally a ceiling fan.

4. Medical services:

This hospital has very experienced and skilled government level doctors. However, they all come on time. There are not many good doctors available all the time. Only the local duty doctors provide 24-hour service and there is a nurse. If the patient informs the nurse about any issue, a doctor is immediately arranged. However, experienced and specialist doctors are not immediately available except at a specific time. And here, there are always people in the emergency department and 24-hour service is provided. Because any patient can come at any time in an emergency, that is why good and karmic people are mainly located there.

5. Tests and technology:

Although there is a lab here, the diagnostic facilities are not very good. There are some modern medical equipments, but all of them are not effective. And the samples are tested from here. Again, some tests are brought from outside. Which are done from other places if there is no machine here. But they get it done through their own official way.

6. Waiting time:

In fact, there are many people here who come to receive low-cost services because government hospitals provide low-cost and free services. So it takes some time to register. In addition, you have to stay in the queue and it takes a long time to see a doctor. Above all, it takes some time to see a doctor for everything. Because people from the entire upazila come here to see a doctor.

7. Cost:

In most cases, hospitals have low rates, meaning medical fees are low. Testing fees are also kept low. However, in this case, a lot of time is required. Since many people come here to receive free services or to receive low-cost services, it is a bit late for everyone. If any other charge is charged for the patient's admission, then the nurses demand it for the patients. Then it is given to them. According to the service here, if you consider the quality and service, you can get a lot.

8. Patient experience:

I was admitted two years ago. At that time, I observed their service and everything. Their treatment was very good and since it was a local bed, it is not possible to talk about privacy there. Because everyone is basically staying in a big room and receiving services. After all, their main doctor is a little annoying because of his lateness. However, when it comes to providing other services, the people who are there provide services.

9. Pros

The government hospital is in such a beautiful environment that anyone can understand from the outside. The inside is very beautifully planted with trees as if it were a park area. It is always kept clean, which is why it is so nice. In terms of cleanliness, this Upazila Health Complex of Daganbhuiyan is much ahead of the Feni Upazila Health Complex. However, it also works faster in terms of emergency services. But when it comes to equipment, there is a lot of deficiency here.

Examples:

There are many things to say about such improvements here. Because many government officials make mistakes. Because here, in terms of waiting time, you have to wait for a long time. And there is not much provision for seating arrangement. Since this is an established seating arrangement at the upazila level, it should be improved more. There is no facility to make appointments online. And I think that also needs to be improved

12. Conclusion:

Above all, everything here, starting from the service provided, is at a fairly good level. Since it is a government-run hospital, there are all kinds of facilities here. Apart from that, the service here is also good. However, if doctors can be made available, it will be much better for everyone.
