The Diary Game: A Very Busy Day Going On A Trip To Buy Goods For My Customers [6/8/2026]

Hello lovely steemians, hope you are doing great? Welcome to another episode of how I spent my day.

I woke up very early today, because I was going to another state to buy goods that are out of stock in my shop. And yes I'm a small scale business owner who sales wears.

I had my morning devotion, did some chores and had my bath. I didn't get the chance to prepare food at home as I was rushing to catch up with bus and arrive the market place early and start buying things so I can come back early. Because the distance I will be taking is a really far one. I got dressed and went out to where I'll get a bus. That was actually the first bus, this trip takes up to 3 buses for me to get to the destination.

While in the bus I had to buy snacks and drink from hawkers along the road so as to gain energy and not leave my stomach empty.

After a long journey of 3hrs I finally arrived the market. This market is one of the largest market in Nigeria known as "Aba market" in this market anyone can get different varieties of things they want and it's always busy. People even find it difficult to get a breathing space because everyone is rushing and dragging to get what they want before it's sold out.

After passing through the crowd I finally got to the shop where I'll be buying the wears my customers requested for. I started selecting them, and when she didn't have most of the things I want I had to still go to another store to buy the rest. After what seemed like forever I finally got done.

I fought through the crowd again to get to where I'll enter a tricycle to get to the junction where I'll get a bus.

Meanwhile it started getting late and there were large number of passengers on the road with limited buses. Everyone was fighting to get into any bus available. Fortunately I was able to enter a bus.

While inside the bus on my way back....I saw a car that was on fire, I don't know what the source of the fire was as we drove pass. I just hope no life was lost from the fire outbreak.

After the long journey I finally made it home, feeling very exhausted and hungry. I couldn't even get lunch during the day. I quickly dragged myself to have my bath and entered the kitchen to prepare dinner. I was doing all these tired.

When the meal was done I ate and started cross checking the things I bought from the market. I was satisfied and happy that nothing was forgotten and all customers order were bought.
