The Dairy Game: [27/07/2026] Monday Chores, talks and travel.

I had an interesting day today, i woke up around 5::41am shortly before the break of dawn to quickly tidy up and prepare for my trip to zaria which is an hour's journey from Kaduna. I ironed a few clothes, did some clean up and arranged my travel back pack.

After all was set, I spent some time talking with my brother while he prepared for work. eventually he left and I stayed back a bit to finish a few things before leaving. I changed the faulty light bulbs in the house and inspected the work the plumber did at the weekend to make sure it was still in good shape before I proceeded to take my leave. I found a loading tricycle and it took me to the main road. Just before getting into a bus, I found a point of sale terminal (POS) where I withdrew some money i would use as transport fare for my trip ‎

‎After making withdrawals, i got on a bus and we moved to the park where I would get a vehicle going to Zaria. The bus was slow because it kept on stopping over and over as its driver was searching for commuters. In the end we got to the park at about 4: 50 pm and I immediately went in. search of a loading vehicle. I paid my fare and got a seat at the back and we waited for other commutters to arrive before leaving. The park assistants helped in properly arranging the items into the car boot and this took up some time. In the end we were set and ready to move and the driver turned on the ignition and on we went ‎

‎i got to Zaria at about 6:20pm and took a bike directly to my place. it was nice to see my neighbours after a week of been away. The grandma that lives close to where i stay said that she had missed me and everyone laughed excitedly. I quickly got in the house, dropped my things and headed for the barbershop to trim my hair briefly after which I had a cool bath ready for a sound sleep. ‎
