I went to a filling station or fuel station that supplies fuel oil and gas. It is located in Chandana, Joydevpur, Gazipur district, Bangladesh. The filling station is located next to the Joydevpur main road from the Gazipur intersection. Bangladesh Rice Research Institute is located right next to the filling station. This filling station has been meeting the fuel needs of the people of this area for a long time.

Even after the fuel supply was completely cut off, the fuel station was trying to supply fuel. Since the price of fuel has increased a lot due to the war. Even then, this station was supplying fuel to the drivers. Since the fuel station is located next to the main road, drivers can easily get fuel. The fuel station is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The fuel station meets the fuel needs of local and long-distance vehicles.

The filling station provides several services and modern facilities for the convenience of customers. The filling station has a system for selling all types of fuel oil and gas suitable for different types of vehicles. Skilled staff are employed here to provide round-the-clock customer service. Each fuel dispenser or oil measuring machine has a nozzle through which the staff can refill the oil or gas in the car very quickly. This means that drivers do not have to stand in line for a long time. The service is provided quickly even during peak hours.
Each machine at the station has a modern display board. While taking fuel, the customer can see how many liters of oil he is taking and how much its total cost is coming directly on the screen. As a result, a kind of transparency and accountability environment is maintained between the service provider and the customers.

The overall situation of filling station emergency services can be said to be quite mixed. There are some positive aspects as well as room for improvement. As the filling station is open 24 hours a day, customers can refuel at any time. It is less crowded during the day. But be a bit crowded at night. Next to the filling station is 11 KV high voltage substation. So there is no problem here even if the electricity goes out. There is always electricity here. Besides, the police hotline number has been given so that no untoward incident happens. In addition, there is a fire service hotline number, and cylinders are kept to prevent any untoward incidents like fire.

The filling station is somewhat lacking in cleanliness. Due to the constant traffic and movement of fuel oil, the floor is stained black. Oil gauges are covered with plastic. But the covers seemed quite old to me. As a result, some beauty is lost. However, the use of the staff here is quite sincere. They perform the duties with considerable efficiency.

I actually never got the chance to take service at this station. As I don't have a bike or a car. However, friends sometimes come here to fill their bikes with oil. From my experience after visiting a few times, I think some more steps can be taken to improve the pump.
The cover of the machine needs to be changed. A new cover has to be added there. This will make the pump look more beautiful.
Regular floor cleaning should be done. To remove oil stickiness on the floor, the floor should be cleaned with detergent at regular intervals every day.
- The personnel working in the pump should be provided with a security uniform, and necessary hand gloves should be provided. I believe that this will increase the professionalism among the employees.
- As many people come to take services at night, it is better to have a restroom. Sometimes, many customers get tired of standing in long queues; it would be nice to have a restroom.
