A Morning of Orchard Spraying with My Uncle

In this video, I will try to show you how we spray pesticides in our orchard and how we use a motor pump for the process. Since we live in a hilly area, there are no proper irrigation facilities available here. However, there is a small natural spring located near this orchard where water collects naturally.

We first gather water from the spring and transport it in small containers, often using buckets. The water is then poured into larger storage containers. Each container can hold around 200 to 250 liters of water. Once enough water has been collected, we mix the required pesticides and spray the entire orchard.

This video was recorded this morning when I visited the orchard with my uncle. We had last sprayed this orchard around ten to twenty days ago, so it was time for another round of treatment. The purpose of this spraying is to protect the apple trees from diseases and pests that may affect them during the growing season.

For this application, we used a combination of fungicides and insecticides. These help protect the trees from fungal diseases as well as harmful insects that commonly attack apple orchards and damage both the trees and the fruit. Regular spraying at the right time is an important part of orchard management and helps ensure a healthy crop.

Now, have a look at the video.
