The beautiful shrine of Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani, Chrarisharief

As it was Friday, I decided to go to Charar-e-Sharif town for the congregational Friday prayer. On Fridays, a large number of people gather there to offer prayers collectively and seek the acceptance of their supplications. I went there with the same hope in my heart.

A huge crowd had already gathered by the time I arrived. Finding a place to park my vehicle was quite difficult because the area was already filled with people and cars. After moving around for a while, I finally managed to find a parking spot. By then, very little time was left before the prayer began.

I offered the prayer and afterward found a little time to record a short video so that I could share it with all of you. Through this video, people from different parts of the world can get a glimpse of this sacred shrine.

The shrine is associated with Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani, one of the most renowned Sufi saints of Kashmir. He is highly revered, and people not only from Kashmir but from different parts of India visit this place to pay their respects. The flow of visitors never seems to end, and the shrine remains crowded throughout the year.

After the prayer, I recorded a brief video to share this beautiful location with you. The structure visible in front is the holy shrine built over the resting place of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Noorani. Beside it stands a large congregational mosque, commonly known as the Khanqah. It is a place of immense spiritual significance, respected by everyone who visits it.

Unfortunately, I had parked my vehicle in the wrong place, and I received a call asking me to move it. Because of that, I had to leave quickly and could not record a longer video. Insha’Allah, the next time I visit, I will make a more detailed video and share it with you.
