Steemit Challenge Season 32 Week 03|| "Today's Writing, Tomorrow's Memories."—The Health Diary
Assalamu Alaikum, dear Steemian friends.
I hope all of you are doing well and enjoying good health by the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah. Today I would like to share my Health Diary with you. This day was quite different from my usual routine because it was the death anniversary of my beloved father. The day was filled with emotions, prayers, family responsibilities, and acts of kindness. At the same time, I tried to maintain my healthy habits and stay physically and mentally active throughout the day.

🌅 Starting the Day with Prayer and Healthy Habits

I woke up early in the morning, just as I do every day. I have developed the habit of waking up before sunrise because I believe that an early start brings discipline and positivity to life. The calm and peaceful atmosphere of the early morning always refreshes my mind.
After waking up, I performed my Fajr prayer and spent some time making dua and remembering Almighty Allah. Since it was my father's death anniversary, I made special prayers for him, asking Allah to forgive him and grant him eternal peace in Jannah. Those quiet moments of prayer always bring comfort to my heart and help me remain mentally strong.
After finishing my prayer, I followed my daily healthy routine. I drank one glass of warm water and ate two dates along with four almonds. This is a simple habit that I try to maintain every day because it gives me energy and helps me start the day in a healthy way.
🍽️ A Simple Breakfast and a Different Kind of Morning


Normally, I leave for the office in the morning, but yesterday I took leave because of my father's death anniversary. Since I had to spend most of the day outside with family responsibilities and there was no gas supply at home, I decided to have breakfast outside.
My breakfast consisted of naan bread, vegetable and chicken, followed by a cup of warm red tea. Although I usually prefer homemade meals, I made sure to eat properly because I knew the day would be long and physically demanding.
🏥 Supporting My Family

My younger brother was very busy with all the arrangements for the memorial program. To help him, I spent some time taking care of his pharmacy. Looking after the shop gave him the opportunity to complete other important tasks without worrying.
I believe that helping family members during difficult moments is not only a responsibility but also an important part of emotional well-being. Being there for each other gives us strength and keeps family bonds alive.
At around 11:00 AM, I had a healthy snack. I ate some ripe mangoes and sapodilla (chikoo), two delicious seasonal fruits that are rich in natural vitamins and nutrients. I always try to include fruits in my daily diet whenever possible.

🍲 Preparing Food for the Poor in Memory of My Father


After leaving the pharmacy, I went to the place where food was being prepared for poor and needy people in memory of my late father. Every year, our family arranges this small charity program and prays for the peace of his soul. For me, this is one of the most meaningful ways to remember him.
I spent some time supervising the cooking activities and making sure everything was being prepared properly. Seeing everyone working together for a good cause created a beautiful feeling of unity and compassion.
When the cooking was completed, we all joined together to pack the food. Family members and helpers worked side by side, carefully preparing the food packets for distribution. We remained busy with this work until almost 3:00 PM.

Although the work required physical effort, it brought me immense mental satisfaction. I believe that helping people in need and sharing food with them not only benefits others but also brings peace to our own hearts.
🍛 Lunch, Rest, and Evening Responsibilities
After completing all the arrangements, I finally had my lunch. By then, it was already afternoon. After eating, I took a short rest because my body felt tired after several hours of standing and working.
At around 5:00 PM, our household helper arrived. I spent some time helping with the household chores and supervising the daily work. We worked together to complete the necessary tasks and prepare dinner for the family. Staying active through daily responsibilities is also a part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

During the evening, I performed my Maghrib and Isha prayers. On an emotional day like this, prayer gave me patience, comfort, and inner peace. I strongly believe that spiritual well-being is just as important as physical health.
🚶 A Peaceful Evening Walk
After having dinner and completing my Isha prayer, I went outside for a short walk. At around 9:00 PM, I walked for nearly thirty minutes. Walking has become one of my favorite healthy habits because it helps me relax after a long and busy day.
As I walked quietly through the evening, I remembered my father and prayed for him. Those moments gave me emotional comfort and allowed me to reflect on the blessings of life. Sometimes, a peaceful walk is not only good for the body but also healing for the heart.

🌙 Ending the Day with Gratitude
After returning home, I completed my regular night routine. I performed ablution and prepared myself for sleep. At around 10:30 PM, I went to bed, thanking Almighty Allah for giving me the strength to spend such an emotional day with patience, gratitude, and kindness.
Today's health diary reminded me that good health is not only about eating healthy food or doing physical exercise. A truly healthy life also includes mental peace, spiritual connection, family bonding, helping others, and maintaining positive daily habits.
Starting the day with prayer, drinking warm water, eating dates, almonds, and seasonal fruits, staying active through family responsibilities, participating in charity work, and ending the day with a peaceful walk—all these small actions together create a balanced and meaningful lifestyle.
Finally, I pray that Almighty Allah grants eternal peace to my beloved father and blesses all of us with good health, happiness, and the ability to help those in need. Thank you so much for reading my Health Diary. May Allah keep everyone safe, healthy, and blessed.

Reading through your health diary I became so emotional May the soul of your father keep resting in peace .I lost my father 3years ago and I know how it fills ,it’s always a difficult moment to accept but God knows best . I can see you people decided to make your Father’s Day memorial by sharing food to the needy .God bless you all, you have as well shared with us your diary eating habits, this makes you stay strong and healthy .Recommending others to eat nutritious foods and drinking enough water as a halibut is worth important.
My observation is that you didnot include the date of health diary. No engagement with other participants in the contest atleast three comments left in each post . I was expecting to see more health tips from what you have consumed during the day as health benefits meals .It important to the body and the quantity that need to be consumed.
