The Diary Game: (16/07/26) A Rainy Day, Dressed up For Work But Couldn't Go Because The Was Flood Everywhere

Hi guys good day and welcome to another episode of my diary game with mjeelifestyle, how was your day y'all? Mine was just normal and here's how it went.
So I woke up at 7am to get ready for work, I was feeling a bit under the weather but still wanted to go to work. I tidied up my room then went ahead to wash the dishes in the kitchen and cleaned everywhere up. For breakfast I had some stew in the refrigerator and I had to boil some white rice, after parboiling and washing my rice, I put it back on fire to cook then while waiting I was pressing my phone and the rice cooked and overspill because I covered the pot completely. It was really frustrating as the rice water entered my cooker and it went off, I had to turn it off and used a rag to clean up the cooker then waited for a while before I could turn the cooker back on. I had to monitor the rice till when it was done and I also didn't cover it completely again so that it won't spill over. I had my bath after cooking before I proceeded to eat.
I had some cucumber in the fridge so I cut that and paired with the rice.

While I was eating the weather changed complete and before I could blink it had started raining heavily. I knew I wouldn't make it to work, I still got dressed in a gown because a trouser wasn't an option, got my umbrella and strolled out to see if I could get a bike or tricycle. The first tricycle I saw the price was too much almost triple of what I pay on a normal day. Everywhere was flooded, the price of transportation was high and it was even hard seeing a vehicle as everywhere was scanty so I decided to go back to my house.
I strolled back home, rinsed my legs off with water and got undressed. The rain was still heavy so I just climbed my bed and was just on my phone, in no time I feel asleep and around 1pm when I woke up it had stopped raining.
I got up to use the restroom and also used that avenue to pop some popcorn because I had it at home, I sprinkled some powdered milk on it and I snacked on it while scrolling through my phone.

Spent the rest of the day just lazying and laying down since I had nothing to do. Evening came and I microwave some of the rice from morning, and paired it with mango. You guys remembered that mango I bought the other day that I didn't finish, I had even forgot that I left two out of 4 in the refrigerator and only remembered today so I had just one from the two and it was still in good shape, I thought it would had gone bad but it didn't.

Dinner

When it was 8pm I boiled some hot water and had my bath then did my skincare.
So this was pretty much how my day went, I didn't do much and my activity was disrupted and cancelled due to the heavy rain and I can spent the rest of the day indoors.
