1. What type of service location did you visit? Briefly describe it.

I visited a mosque. which is a place of worship for Mu\slims\ It is a peaceful and spiritual, environment where people come to pray; reflect, and connect with Allaj, The mosque I visited had a clean prayer hall; a separate area for ablution (wudu), and a calm atmosphere. It i\s not just for prayers but also serves as a community space where people gather, learn, and support each other.

My Visit to Masjid Quba – A Real Life Experience

Today I am sharing my real-life experience of visiting a mosque in my area, Masjid Quba. It is a peaceful and beautiful place where Muslims gather daily to offer prayers and remember Allah.

2. Operational history & Location (Steem Atlas pin)

The mosque ,is located in my local area; and has been serving the community \for many years, It was built by local residents with donations and continues ,to run with their support. Over time. it has become an important part of daily life, especially for the five daily prayers and Friday (Jummah) prayers. Many people from nearby neighborhoods visit regularly,(You can add your Steem Atlas pin here based on your exact location)

Location & Visit Details

Masjid Quba is located very close to my home, and I usually go there by walking. It takes around 5–7 minutes to reach. I visited the mosque at Maghrib time, when many people were already present for prayer. The mosque remains open throughout the day, but it becomes more active during the five daily prayer times.

Description of the Mosque

Masjid Quba is well-organized and has good facilities for worshippers. Inside, there are neat and clean prayer mats arranged in rows. There is also a proper ablution (wudu) area where people perform washing before prayer.

3. What are the roles and responsibilities of a mosque Imam and Muazzin, and a temple priest?

In a \mosque, the Imam is the person ,lwho leads the نماز (prayer,) and guides people in religious matters. He also gives sermons (khutbah), \especially on \Fridays, and helps the community understand Islamic teachings\

The Muazzin is responsible; for calling the Azan (call to prayer). which informs people that. it is time to pray. He ensures that prayer, times are announced properly every day\

In a temple, the. priest performs religious rituals. offers prayers to the deities, and guides visitors in worship. He also takes care of the temple’s religious activities and maintains. the spiritual environment,

The mosque includes:

• A clean shoe area
• Washrooms for convenience
• A water cooler for drinking water
• Chairs for elderly people
• A donation box placed outside for charity

There is also a front open area where people can sit and relax. I also took a selfie inside the mosque as proof of my visit.

Roles of Imam & Muazzin

• The Imam leads all prayers and provides Islamic guidance to the community. He also delivers Friday sermons.
  The Muazzin gives the Adhan (call to prayer) and helps manage prayer timings and arrangements.

• Both play an important role in maintaining the spiritual environment of the mosque.

Environmental Impact

The mosque promotes cleanliness and discipline. People try to keep the environment clean, especially in the prayer and ablution areas. However, sometimes water can be wasted during wudu, so awareness is needed to reduce this.

  The mosque has a positive,, environmental impact in many way \It promotes cleanliness, as people are encouraged to keep the surroundings neat and tidy. The wudu area helps maintain personal hygiene. Some mosques also plant trees or have open spaces that create a peaceful, environment.

However, like; any place, there can be small environmental challenges' such as water usage. during ablution or electricity consumption. But overall, the mosque encourages discipline, cleanliness, and respect for the environment\

My Feelings

My visit to Masjid Quba was very calming and refreshing. I always feel relaxed and spiritually connected when I pray there. It is a place that brings peace to the heart and mind.
