Assalamu Alaikum,

Dear family, respected blogger brothers and sisters, I hope everyone is well. Alhamdulillah, I am also well. I have appeared in the second week of the Steemit Learning Challenge to discuss landmarks. Today, I will share with you a review of a Buddhist temple as an unconventional landmark. I am very happy to have the opportunity to review such a beautiful topic in the second week of the 31st episode of the Steemit Family Challenge. Many thanks to my dear @max-Pro brother for selecting beautiful topics. It is a great opportunity for us to constantly review different topics through everyone.

What kind of Offbeat Landmarks have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.

The place of interest that I have appeared to review with you is the Buddhist temple located on the Buddhist Temple Road of our Cox's Bazar city. This road has been named after this temple. It is a very old Buddhist temple. It has become very obsolete now. Earlier, many visitors used to come to see this temple. The activities of this temple are ongoing during Buddhist religious festivals. However, at present, there are no such activities. But it has been preserved as a memory.

This scene is after entering through the gate.

Next to Baitus Sharaf School, one of the educational institutions of Cox's Bazar. In addition, Baitus Sharaf Hospital is adjacent to it. This is a very old temple in our Cox's Bazar city. People of different religious communities live in our Cox's Bazar city, among whom Buddhists are one of them. Many Buddhists are living here along with Muslims. I have visited this tourist place Buddhist temple, many times before.

After entering, there is a small room next to the temple.

However, I visited this place again. Now there is not much traffic of people. After the evening, there are a lot of rickshaws. This temple is located right next to the road, due to which anyone can enter very easily. The city has been named Buddhist Temple Road around this temple.

How were the activities, services and facilities at this place? (With pictures + prices, videos)

All the religious activities of Buddhists used to be held in this Buddhist temple. However, it is still happening, but not like before. Now, more new Buddhist temples have been established, so it can be said that there is not as much activity here as before. There are many wooden buildings here. Which are the houses of the previous conventional design? There are very beautiful houses for Buddhist priests here. Moreover, there are assistant priests of Buddhists who look after the temple.

Some parts of the temple.

There are many houses in which they perform various types of religious activities. There are various Buddhist festivals. Moreover, their various types of religious traditions, festivals, or their marriages, altogether, created a very bustling atmosphere here. When Buddhist religious festivals were held, Buddhists did not see it, but people of different religions used to come and go to see the beauty of their ceremonies.

This temple is located in a very large area. Now, since there are fewer people, there is quite a silence here. I went to visit the temple in the evening, and the atmosphere was so quiet that I was very afraid to enter. But even then, I visited as much as I could and collected some beautiful photographs and videos. Although the place is quiet, there are many trees here. I like the peaceful atmosphere. Besides, some Buddhists live here. There are guards here who look after the temples. They take care of the temples.

I took a selfie standing in the inner area of the temple.

There are people to clean the garbage around. In the past, many people used to come to look after the temples and visit them. Now they don't come that much. Although you have to come during the day. No money is required to enter this temple. People of all religions can enter. There is no money transaction here; you just enter. I am also sharing the video for you. You can understand how beautiful it is by watching the video.

What did you learn about the history of that place?

Yes, of course, today I will discuss a historical description of the temple as far as I know. In 1799, a man named Hiron Cox gave 10,000 refugees from Myanmar a place to live in Cox's Bazar. He established temples for the Rakhine community. He established several temples in different places in Cox's Bazar, such as Ramu, Cox's Bazar, for the convenience of the Rakhines everywhere. To carry out their religious activities.

This is the entrance to another room.

Thus, the number of Rakhines is increasing day by day in Cox's Bazar city. Currently, the Buddhist community is scattered in different areas of Cox's Bazar. They have a very good relationship with Muslims. Buddhists, Hindus, and Muslims respect all religions and enjoy everyone's festivals. And all of us who are here enjoy the various religious festivals of Buddhists.

Buddhists live in different places near our area. Although this temple is a very old temple, now many new places have been established for the Buddhist community.

Share your experiences of that place as a Curious Explorer.

The Buddhist temple in Cox's Bazar is a temple that is a place of entertainment for thousands of people. It is not just a religious place of worship; it is also a part of the entertainment of thousands of people. Since a Buddhist temple is beautifully decorated, people are curious to see the temple. Cox's Bazar is a tourist city; tourists come here from different places.

I took a photograph with the card from the inside area.

At the same time, they walk around the beach and see the Buddhist temple. It is still a tourist attraction, but it has decreased compared to before. I have been there many times before, and I really like to wander around this place. The Buddhist people here are very nice and kind. There are Buddhist religious institutions inside where I am educated in religious education. Especially, Buddhist priest education is prevalent here. The place is very beautiful, and there is a very quiet environment to wander around.

Overall, I liked it very much. I got to know a lot by talking to the people here, and there are several memories of them here. The designs on the front of the Buddhists are very beautiful to look at. Today I shared my review. I hope you will enjoy reading the review I shared today. Thank you all for taking the valuable time to visit the blog.
