Today I would like to share with you my own experience with a very well-known social and cultural tradition of our society, the wedding ceremony. This ceremony was held in a village in our Gaibandha district. In our rural society, marriage is not just a ceremony to start a new life for a boy and a girl. It is a beautiful occasion to create new relationships between two families as well as bring relatives, neighbors and acquaintances together. Sampriti I attended a wedding ceremony with my entire family. My husband, my little daughter, my mother-in-law, my two sisters-in-law and their children were with me. The day became more joyful and memorable for me because everyone went to the wedding together.

What is the name of the culture, festival, or tradition that is celebrated in your community? Tell us where it usually takes place and share the Google Map, Steematlas, and Google Plus location.

One of the most important social traditions of our community is the wedding ceremony. It is located in our Gaibandha district. In our area, this wedding ceremony usually lasts for two days. One day, the girl's side goes to the boy's side's house and the other day, the boy's side goes to the girl's house. On the first day, the ceremony is held at the girl's house, where relatives and neighbors attend and wish the newlyweds and share the joy. The next day, the ceremony is held at the boy's house and all the relatives attend the ceremony. The wedding ceremony I attended was also such a family and social gathering. Many family members attended there together. Since we all went together, the whole atmosphere seemed very happy to me. I took pictures of the bride and groom with my mobile and captured some beautiful moments in our family. These pictures capture my memories of that day.

In your community, why is this festival or tradition important to your community?

In my community, weddings are a very important social tradition. Because through marriage, not only a bride and groom start a new life, but also two families and a new relationship are bound together. At the wedding, distant relatives are met. Old relationships become closer and new kinship is created. When there is a wedding in our society, family members take time out of their busy schedules to attend. Everyone rejoices together, blesses the newlyweds and wishes them well for their new life. For me, the most beautiful thing about marriage is the love and family ties between people. Such events play an important role in maintaining our culture and social values.

What activities do they like: music, dance, food, ritual, clothing, etc

There are various types of joy and cultural activities at the wedding. The bride and groom wear beautiful clothes, meet relatives, talk, laugh, enjoy and eat together, all of which combine to create a festive atmosphere. Wedding food has a special attraction. A variety of delicious food is prepared for the guests. Everyone sitting together and eating food and entertaining each other is a beautiful aspect of our social culture. Apart from this, the various wedding ceremonies, the decorations of the bride and groom and the beautiful dresses of the relatives make the whole event more attractive. I especially enjoyed seeing the whole family together. My husband, daughter, mother-in-law, two sisters-in-law and their children were all together. So the joy of the wedding spread to our family as well.

The thing I enjoy the most about a wedding is getting the whole family together and sharing the joy. Nowadays, everyone is busy with their own work, so it is not always possible to get many family members together in the same place. But when there is an opportunity for a wedding or family event, everyone comes together. In this wedding, my husband, my little daughter, my mother-in-law, my two sisters-in-law and their children were all there. We spent time together, talked and had fun. Taking pictures of the bride and groom myself was also special to me. By taking pictures, I was able to preserve those beautiful moments as memories. When I look at those pictures today, the happy moments of that day come back to me.

Weddings are a wonderful way to bring people together in our community. Not only the bride's family, but also many relatives, neighbors, and acquaintances participate in a wedding. Some help with the cooking, some entertain the guests, some help with various activities of the ceremony. In this way, everyone makes a wedding beautiful and joyful. Everyone, young and old, rejoices together at the wedding ceremony. Children play games in their own way, adults engage in stories, and everyone enjoys the food together. In this way, a wedding strengthens the love and bond between the people of the entire community. I would definitely recommend visitors to enjoy such a wedding ceremony in our area. Because through this they will be able to see the sincerity of our people, kinship, clothing, food, family ties and socio-cultural aspects very closely.

My overall Experience

Going to this wedding was not just a ceremony for me, it was a beautiful opportunity to share joy with my beloved family members. The day became more special to me because I went to the wedding together with my husband, my little daughter, my mother-in-law, my two sisters-in-law and their children. I took pictures of the bride and groom with my own hands, as well as some pictures of our family. I took beautiful pictures of my daughter with her mischievous smiling face. So that when I remember this day in the future, those beautiful moments will come to my eyes. I think many happy moments in our lives come very simply, but when time passes, those simple moments become very precious memories. Social events like weddings not only give us joy but also help us maintain our cultural traditions and family ties from generation to generation. If we love our own cultural heritage and share it with the new generation, our social bond will survive in the future.

I invite my friends according to the rules of this competition,

Marriage, especially a traditional wedding, is often cherished by the bride's family, as it is usually when a woman is given away to her husband. Your country's traditional marriage is similar to that in Africa, especially Nigeria. Try to improve your markdown so your post can have more quality.
