01. What kind of Service Provider Zone have you visited? Briefly introduce it.

I visited the Phulbari Railway Station as a Service Provider Zone. It is a historic railway station that was established in 1878. Despite its age, the station still preserves some classic railway infrastructure.

One of the most fascinating features is the old-style signal cabin, which is used to manage train traffic manually through lever frames.

This traditional system reflects the historical importance of the station and gives visitors like me a glimpse into early railway operations.

02. How were the services and history both inside and outside? (With pictures + prices, videos)

The station is relatively small but quite busy. Most intercity trains stop here, along with regular local trains, making it an important transport hub for the area.

Inside the station, the essential passenger facilities are available. There is a seating area with enough space for travelers, and a TV screen is installed in the middle of the platform to provide updates and entertainment.

The station master’s office plays an important role for getting the train informations. However, the ticket counter is quite small and could be improved for better service efficiency. The station has only one platform, but it is well utilized due to the high passenger flow.

Outside the station, the area is lively due to its busy nature. Various business activities have developed around it. There are several small hotels, bakeries, and street food stalls. A public toilet is also available near the platform for passengers.

03. What services did you go there for?

I mainly visited the station for travel purposes and to experience the environment. During my visit, I also explored the food options available around the station.

One of the most popular street food spots there is an alu paratha stall located near the end of the platform. I tried a combination of alu paratha with egg, along with mashed vegetables and spices. The taste was really enjoyable and added a special touch to my visit.

04. Share your 24-hour experience & Show their management system.

I have visited this station multiple times, both during the day and at night, which gave me a full 24-hour experience of its environment.

During the daytime, the station remains very active with a large number of passengers and frequent train movements. The surrounding shops and food stalls are also busy, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

At night, the station becomes comparatively calmer but still remains operational. Trains continue to arrive and depart, and basic services remain available for passengers.

The management system of the station is quite traditional yet effective. The manual signal cabin system is still in use, and the station master ensures smooth operation by coordinating train schedules and making announcemen. Despite limited infrastructure, the station is well-managed and functions efficiently.
