Today I will share how to make a spicy, tangy, and sweet mango mash. As it is summer, I recently visited my village home where my uncle’s mango tree had produced plenty of mangoes this year.

The day before I returned, I suddenly felt like eating mango mash. So, one of my friends and I and my familiar person picked four raw mangoes from the tree. The mangoes were quite sour, but their smell was amazing.

At first, we started peeling the mangoes using a knife, but later someone brought us a vegetable peeler. That made the process much easier and faster. After peeling, we washed the mangoes properly and cut them into small pieces.

Then we mixed sugar, chili, and mustard sauce (kasundi) with the mango pieces and mashed everything together nicely. Finally, the mango mash was ready to eat. I really enjoyed eating it, and it tasted very delicious. The whole preparation process was also a fun and memorable experience.

Making mango mash is actually very easy, but it is filled with many joyful, fun, and sweet moments. The experience of picking mangoes reminds me of my childhood memories. In our country, this fruit is known as the king of fruits. I am truly grateful to the Creator for blessing our land with such a nutritious and delicious fruit.
