What kind of Offbeat Landmarks have you visited? Briefly introduce yourself.

I visited a place of Worship in Jikwoyi, Abuja. Saint Josephine Bakhita Catholic Church is located at the Jikwoyi Phase 2 junction in Abuja.

This church is one of the famous worship centres in my town. It is one of the oldest churches in the town which has long been in existence even before I was born which according to my aunt, as she moved to Abuja she came and met the church which simply means the church was built by missionaries who came to Nigeria. The location where the church is located is a very busy place as it is closer to a busy road.

How were the activities, services, and facilities at this place? (With pictures + prices, videos)

The church has different activities within the weeks which the main activity and services of the church being worship, prayer, and giving praise to God. From Monday to Sunday, the church is usually filled with people who visit the church to practice, teach the gospel, clean the church, and perform other activities.

The facilities that are inside the church are modern facilities that make the atmosphere both inside and outside conducive enough for worship and prayer. Inside the church, there are good chairs, cycling fans, fancy lights, and a modern bar for playing and dancing.

What did you learn about the history of that place?

The history that I learned about the place is that good history can't be erased in our society because it will keep passing on from one generation to another. Today the people who started the church are being remembered, and I learned how to be good and productive anywhere that I find myself.

I had a great experience at the place which I felt so happy about. There is an elderly woman who makes me feel happy and I was curious about her strength. She looks old and strong and she loved telling stories which I assisted her in walking down from a staircase.
