The Diary Game - A Day For Home Maintenance AC Service, School Tasks, and Meeting a Haji Friend June 10, 2026

Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. My day started at dawn when I woke up and prayed. After praying, I recited the Holy Quran, and as per my routine, I went out of the house for a walk for a while and headed towards the fields. There, I freshen myself by looking at the greenery, enjoying the cool morning air and listening to the chirping of birds.

This morning was very pleasant; there was a cool breeze and there were light clouds, due to which the weather was very beautiful everywhere. I also went out here to enjoy the same weather, and here I did some photography, some random things about which I have no information, but in the morning they looked very beautiful to me; that's why I captured them on my mobile.

Then from there I returned home and freshened up. After freshening up, I had breakfast. After breakfast, my work started with technical things. I had brought a protector for my refrigerator. Its lead was too short, so I brought a new extension for it, and I had to attach the extension to it so that it could be connected to the electrical board where the refrigerator is located.

The biggest problem I had when I opened this protector was that the connection to the board was not done with the page we use here, but it had to be connected by heating the wire with a soldering iron, which I didn't have at home. Then I took it to an electrical shop, which was a friend of mine, and he had me install the new lead that I had soldered.

After installing a new extension cord, I attached it to the refrigerator and got access to our electrical board. Shortly after, I got a call from my father. He told me that people were coming to service the AC. He would stay at home so that the work could be done. Shortly after, they arrived at our house.

As soon as they came into the house, the first thing we did was take it inside, where our indoor unit was located. They opened the indoor unit. After opening it, they brought it outside into the yard and took each and every thing out of it separately because it had to be cleaned properly so that all the dust and dirt inside it would come out and it would be clean.

When they opened the AC and placed it in the yard and separated all its parts, they washed it thoroughly with water. The main thing is that the parts inside it that provide us with cooling, which we call the condenser, have to be cleaned. The better we clean it, the more cooling our AC will provide. That's why they washed it with water pressure and just by applying it.

After washing it, they kept it in the sun for a while to dry. After it dried, they brought it inside, put everything back together, and refitted the interior, which got rid of all the dust and dirt. We could have kept the AC here and serviced it without removing it, but that meant that the inside was not cleaned properly, so we had to remove it.

After servicing the indoor unit, we went to the outdoor unit. There was no need to open the outdoor unit that was on top because it has two types of things that need to be protected from water. One is the fan inside, which has a motor, and the other is the AC main kit, which is on the top side of the outdoor unit. Both of these things need to be protected so that if you pour water on them, it will get damaged, which is a very expensive system, so they wash it from the outside.

It was already afternoon, and I had to finish these tasks. My uncle came to our house and told me that your niece has a summer pack from school, which is holiday work. On it, each class has a separate work written. I took her school card from her and went straight to HTM Model School, which is located at the back of our street.

First of all, I paid the monthly fee for the children, which was Rs 1,000. There were two children. I deposited the fee for both the kids. Then I deposited the fee for the summer pack, which was Rs 400. I deposited a total of Rs 2800. After that, I waited there for some time, and they gave me the summer pack. I came home with the summer pack and gave it to my uncle.

After that, I went to the meat shop to buy meat. Chicken meat is being sold at a low rate today. Eid-ul-Adha has passed, so its rate is also low. So I went straight to the chicken shop and bought one and a half kilos of meat from there.

After that, I needed some cold drinks, some other snacks, etc. To buy them, I went to a grocery store, bought all these things from there, and after that, after taking all my things, I went home.

The heat had also become quite intense during the day, so I finished all my work and let the fire rest for a while. After that, I remembered that our very good and close friend Umar had returned after performing Hajj, so I had to go to meet him. I went straight from home to his house. I went there and met my friend and congratulated him on performing Hajj.

He presented me with Zamzam water brought from the holy city of Mecca and the famous dates there as gifts. Then we sat there and had a good talk, in which he told me everything about the place, which warmed my soul and gave me the desire to go there. May Allah Almighty grant everyone the happiness of their own home.

Thus, it was evening. In the evening, I offered the afternoon prayer. After offering the prayer, I chatted with my friends for a while, and just then the sun started setting. It was evening time. There were light clouds. The sun was setting. Half the sun was outside and half was inside the clouds, which presented a beautiful scene.

Similarly, the sun set, and it was time for the Maghrib call to prayer. I prayed the Maghrib prayer. After praying, I went home. The evening meal was ready, and then all of us in the family sat down and ate the evening meal. After eating, we chatted among ourselves and then headed to our respective beds.
