Assalamu Alaikum, I hope everyone is well and enjoying their lives. Today is a day of reflection. Today I woke up early and offered the Fajr prayer. After offering the Fajr prayer, I went straight to the cemetery. Every Eid al-Adha and Eid al-Fitr, I go to the cemetery and recite a prayer on the graves of our great people and pray for them because just as they left this world, we also have to follow them. After the prayer, my father and I went to the cemetery, prayed there, and placed flowers on the graves.

Since it is summer, the Eid-ul-Adha congregation is held early, so we had a time allotted for 6:30 PM. We quickly returned from the cemetery, got ready, put on new clothes, applied perfume, performed all the Sunnah rituals, and headed towards the cemetery. We reached the Eid al-Adha prayer hall straight away.

We reached the Eid house near the cemetery at around 6 pm. We sat there and waited for a while. All the people gathered. Similarly, we served the Qari Sahib and gave him Eid on the occasion of Eid. Meanwhile, all the people gathered in the entire hall. It was 6:30 pm. The congregation stood up, and then we offered Eid al-Adha prayers.

The elder of our village passed away today, and their funeral prayers were held immediately after the Eid prayers. So, all the people who were standing here in the Eid Gah offered the funeral prayers after the Eid prayers. After offering the funeral prayers, we wished each other Eid al-Adha and then quickly returned to our homes because we had to make sacrifices.

First of all, we greeted our relatives at their homes on Eid, and then we returned home and greeted our parents on Eid, greeted our siblings on Eid, and shared the Eid meal among them. And then I spent my last moments with my sacrificial goat.

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, we sacrifice at my uncle's house. We also took our goat there. He also had two goats, so we started the sacrifice together there. First, we sacrificed a goat in the way of Allah, and then it was our turn to sacrifice it too.

While reciting Takbir, we sacrificed this animal in the way of Allah and then got busy preparing its meat. First of all, when we slaughter it, after slaughtering it, its skin is removed, and then the entire contents of its stomach are taken out in this way.

All of us relatives sacrifice ourselves on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. This is also one of our hobbies. We have to raise the goats well, raise them well, and then sacrifice them in the way of Allah. On the day of sacrifice, we sacrifice ourselves. We don't need any butchers. We all sacrifice together, cousins and relatives, and this is also one of our favorite hobbies on this day.

So when we had slaughtered it properly, peeled it, and removed all the extras, we placed it on a mat and sat there and divided it into small pieces. My father would cut the bone, and we would all sit and cut the meat into small pieces. This is how we chatted, sacrificed, and enjoyed the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.

Since we had to slaughter three animals, and it took us about three to three and a half hours to slaughter the three animals, which is a very short time because we are a large group, we completed our sacrifice quickly. In three to three and a half hours, we divided all the meat into small pieces.

Meanwhile, our food is also ready. We all sit down and eat. After eating, our final task is to distribute the meat. We have to divide this meat into three parts. One part is to keep for ourselves, the second part is to give to relatives, and the third part is to be distributed among the poor. In this way, we distributed this meat and delivered it to the homes of the people who were entitled to this meat.

After distributing the meat, we finally bought it. We prayed and were very tired, and then we went to sleep. When I woke up after sleeping, my mother had prepared a juice for us, which was a mango shake. We enjoyed it and sat in the living room.

Thus, we fulfilled all our obligations on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. According to the Sunnah of sacrificing an animal on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, we distributed the meat and enjoyed it ourselves. We enjoyed it with our families.
