The Diarygame | The send forth of the commanding officer and the commissioning ST James Marian Grotto.

On this day, the 7th of June 2026, we made sure we gave him an adequate farewell. As we began the Holy Mass, the Commanding Officer (CO) joined us. The priest began, and during the Holy Mass, he spoke about the Holy Trinity, as he said the three persons in one God, that is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We began our farewell to the Commanding Officer (CO) with the children singing a farewell song. It was all about how we love him and will miss him. You could hear the children say that they could make use of a picture to remember him, while also stating that the picture could never be a replacement for him.

After that presentation from the kids, our mothers also sang a farewell song that was all about the good deeds of the Commanding Officer, Col. S. A. Bello. They also prayed that as he was leaving for a new area, God would strengthen him and be with him.

After that, the commanding officer "COL SA Bello" was called to give a speech for the people as he was to leave the new place he was posted to. He talks about how we need to be close to God and remain righteousness-conscious. After he was done with with he speech was when the children, four choristers that where divided into two who sang a farewell song.

When that was done the church and some families presented gifts to COL SA Bello (CO), One of the gifts was a picture of him in his army uniform, and others were covered with wrapping paper. After that, the priest said the final blessing, and the commanding officer moved to commission the grotto.

It was at this point that the commanding officer (COL SA Bello) commissioned the grotto after the priest prayed over it, saying that as it is used as a source of worship, the Lord will accept our prayers through the intercession of the blessed Virgin Mary. After the prayers said by the priest the commanding officer used a pair of scissors to cut the ribbon and the statue of the Virgin Mary was unveiled.
