The Diary Game || HOW I SPENT MY DAY: RUNNING THE HOUSE CHORES AND GOING FOR LECTURES || 29/04/2026

God bless your day and all you have touch to do in Jesus Christ's name, AMEN21X. I am here to share how my day went, beginning from the house chores to going to school for my lectures and how it ended.

The morning was loaded for me, and at some points, I couldn't know where to begin from. The dishes were there for me to wash, my son needs to be prepared for school before 7am, and I have lectures. How will someone who woke up later than 5 am meet up with preparing breakfast and cooking what my son will take to school? This is my normal routine, I am only holding a brief for my wife until she's fully recovered from child's birth, moreover she is taking care of the baby, which is another big duty for her. Stressing her again is like I am not appreciating her for the labor and all of that.

Kitchen duties and packing for my son's school

Firstly, I made custard 🍮 for my son while I put rice on fire. I quickly woke the boy up, bathed him,and gave him his breakfast. While he was on fire, I was washing and as well getting my son ready for the school bus to pick him up to school.

Laundry

When I saw my son off to school, I washed a few clothes. This season, once there is set 🌞, you take advantage and do your laundry. It wasn't until 11:45am that I left for my lectures. I got to school, linked up with others, and the afternoon class commenced at 1pm, until 3pm.

Lectures and Making photocopies of lecture notes

Some materials were taken from the lecturer for those who wanted to make copies. We went and ran the photocopies. I made an effort to see my seminar supervisor but it wasn't possible and I had to go home after waiting for about an hour.

When I got home about 4:24pm, I knew that I had about 26 minutes left to be in church for midweek service at 5pm, however, when I laid my head on the bed, I fell into a deep sleep. Waking up late, I felt bad, but I am only a human who has worked so hard since morning, and the body forcefully put me to rest.

Shopping

It was later in the night that I went outside to buy a few things at the supermarket and arrange for dinner. I spent the rest of the night reading my book for examinations that are coming up soon. It was a busy day, but I thank God that I rested.
