The Dairy Game: [25/04/2026] Cleaning And Resting Day.
Good day, guys. Welcome to another diary session with me. This morning, I woke up late because it's weekend and been the beginning of environmental sanitation in Lagos, Nigeria. It falls on every last saturday of the month causing movement to be restricted from 6:30am to 8:30am. Anyway, I decided I won't be going to shop today because my aim is to deep clean and have a lot of rest which is much needed . This was me thinking of how to start cleaning at the same time too lazy to stand up.
I went on to brush my teeth incase, I get to eat side dish before the main dish comes. I am sure you get my drift. The next cleaning stage, is to sweep my room clean.
When I finished sweeping, I went through my phone to reply some messages and surf the internet, while I prep for the next phase which was mopping.
As I was mopping, a thought crossed my mind, what will we be having for breakfast? Debating if it will be beans, akara, or moi moi? At this point, my stomach was already taking over my brain. I snapped out from my thought as I finished mopping the floor. As usual, took some minutes to rest before moving on to the next, my bathroom.
This is where I feel lazy to clean in my room, because it's to big and I want to wash it, it comes with alot of bending, scrubing and sweating at the same time. After I finished washing the bathroom, I decided to bath immediately, wash my hair and dressed up.
At last, food is here. Breakfast I mean even though it's already afternoon. I always prefer to eat after I finish all my chores. It's not everyday, beans and bread or plantain, there are some days for beans and garri. I didn't last twenty minutes before I slept off after washing the dishes.
I woke up after one hour plus, then came to see my family friend who lives two compound away from mine, and decided to watch a movie with my favourite snack.
I had swallow for dinner, which I don't like, except it's pounded yam and vegetable. Today has been an eventful day but it was worth every bit. This would be all on today's session, thanks for having me guys, till next time, remain safe.
