The Dairy Game: [16/06/2026] Journey to Okpoto for AGN Peniel 2026

Hello everyone, welcome to another episode of storytelling with me @gideonuwas. Before I continue I want to thank everyone that took out time to read through all my post. Alright let's keep the ball rolling. On another episode of storytelling with me; I will be telling us about my journey to Assemblies of God Nigeria Headquarters in Okpoto, Ebonyi State, Nigeria for our ministers conference (Peniel 2026)

^{Frustrated at the park waiting for Bus}

Today been 16th of June, 2026 the yearly ministers conference of the General Council of Assemblies of God Nigeria (Peniel) with the theme: "Breaking Barriers to an Ocean of God's Goodness" kick of today and today happens to be the arrival/opening Night. Due to some circumstance beyond our control we could not get a bus our district will go with therefore those willing to go have to pair with a neighboring district that is going. I was told that departure time is 7am Nigerian time. I wake up as early as 5am. Took my bath, freshened up and started heading to the park. I got to the park on time unfortunately we left by 10am. This was really frustrating nevertheless we did not create an scene. The picture above are my luggage and that of my colleagues.

^{We finally Hit the Road}

At exactly 10am we moved from Benin city, Edo State heading to Okpoto in Ebonyi state. You can see the frustration on my face nevertheless I managed to smile in the midst of all this. I seat down at the second row of the bus with two senior ministers who gisted with me and we all share things in common. At about 1pm we got to Asaba; we rested and ate that the park before we continueed our journey.

We arrived Okpoto at 4pm Nigeria time after passing through lots of stress on the road. I was receive by my senior pastor. We ate and share some thoughts about ourselves. It was fun as I was mandated to serve my boss and the district Treasurer.

^{Electrified Atmosphere in Okpoto}

After settling down (bathing, fetching water, eating and arranging my things) I took a walk to the hall and it was wow. The lighting system and the arrangement was top notch. The environment was very different. I can say I've not been in this kind of atmosphere before. There were lot of people in the Hall; they were praying, sing and dance. Everyone was in high spirit. I never regreted going for this program because currently I'm just having a nice time with myself.
