Seeing the development of oil palm seedlings
This morning, I noticed the weather was very sunny, and as usual, Fridays are always sunny. I woke up a little later than usual because we weren't selling anything this morning, and we weren't going to the rice fields either. So, I decided to get some rest after waking up early.
At around 11:00 a.m., my mother woke me up and invited me to our oil palm plantation, which is very close to our house. After freshening up and dressing casually, we headed straight to the plantation. Today, I saw that the oil palm seedlings we planted some time ago were now growing very well, which made me very happy.
However, I also felt a little sad because two of our oil palm seedlings were in poor condition. One was still salvageable, and the other had died. I hadn't watered these two new seedlings yesterday. They died due to insufficient watering. So, I decided to buy another seedling to replant in this garden.
Since it was also Friday, around 12:00 noon, I decided to go straight to the mosque for Friday prayers. After praying at the mosque, my mother invited me to go to our other oil palm plantation to observe the growth and development of the oil palm seedlings. Upon arriving at our oil palm plantation, I saw that the oil palm seedlings were growing very well, which made me very happy. Then we went straight home, and I decided to hang out for a while this afternoon before continuing with my usual work.
Today is a relaxing day as well as a fun day for me and my mother, and I am also very excited to do many activities, because when I can do many productive activities I feel that my life is getting better.
