The Diary Game: Sunday's Highlights— Church Service And Reception(04:05:2026)

Hello Pookies, I am Happiness Effiong with @inemghurrl as my steemit username. Yesterday was another Sunday to attend church service and child dedication. While I was in church, I was anxiously waiting for our dismissal so I could head down to the reception venue. Since it's my department thing, we had agreed to be at the reception though those who could attend the dedication service still did but because of my position as a choirester in my church, I couldn't that's why I made sure not to miss the reception.

Immediately we said the last prayer to end the service, I picked my bag and headed out of church, I took a quick selfie after church while heading down to the main road to enter a Keke to my destination. I got there and met few of my colleagues who were already sitted and the venue was beautifully decorated, I had a seat close to my course mates in a tent specially dedicated to us. We had some discussion about school resumption and other related topic before the event kick-started. I returned home in the mid afternoon after I had eaten enough meals there and went straight to my bed to rest.

When I woke up, I was sent to buy bread and some other items for dinner and I got the money and headed out to buy the items. I got to the shop and since there were other people there before me, I waited for my turn and was duly served. I had wanted to keep the cash I was given for my transport to school and make transfer for the items I bought but network messed me up so I had to let go of the cash and returned home. My mom did her laundry when I returned home and I helped her out with it and when we were done, it was late already so I had to make dinner.

Making dinner wasn't stressful like other days because we had a simple meal as dinner so I got it fixed and mom dished it for everyone. I was served mine and after eating, I took my bath and got ready to write but little did I know my phone had other plans, it went off without notice and all effort to revive it was in futility so I decided to let go and do it today.
