Today I will share with you the chicken curry recipe, which is a very favorite dish of my children. I make this chicken curry recipe at least 2-3 days a week. I am sharing with you the ingredients required for the chicken curry recipe. A combination of a few ingredients will make a great tasting chicken curry recipe.

Cooking Process

After preparing the ingredients needed for the chicken recipe, we will now move on to cooking.

Process One

To cook the chicken curry, first I put a pan on the stove. Heat the oil in the pan, add the chopped onion, stir well, then fry the onions with cinnamon and cardamom until lightly browned.

Process Two

When the onion is browned, add the ginger paste and garlic paste, stir well and cook until the raw smell of the spices goes away.

Process Three

Once the raw smell of ginger and garlic is gone, add the dry ingredients like chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, meat seasoning, salt to taste, coriander powder. Then add a little water and mix the dry ingredients and grind them. When the oil floats on top of the spices, you will know that the spices are ground.

Process Four

After adding the chicken to the spices, stir well. After mixing the chicken with the spices, cover it with a lid and simmer for some time. Occasionally remove the lid of the pan and stir the chicken so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.

Process Five

1000028818.jpg1000028820.jpg1000028821.jpg

After about 15 minutes of simmering the chicken, when the chicken gets a nice color, I added hot water at this stage to cook the chicken better. Adding hot water balances the flavor of the chicken, so it is definitely better to use hot water. After adding the water, I covered it with a lid and cooked it for another 15 minutes, stirring everything occasionally.

Process Six

After cooking on medium heat for fifteen minutes, when the chicken broth thickens, I sprinkled in the roasted cumin powder, stirred it in, and let it simmer for another five minutes.

Final Process

Now serve the hot chicken curry with white rice, pulao, and roti. Since I cooked it in the afternoon, I served it with white rice.

✅ Share the Cultural importance of the food belongs to a city?

The cultural importance of a city's food is great. Food does not just satisfy hunger, it reflects the history, traditions and lifestyle of a society. The traditional foods of a city have many years of history behind them. The food habits of immigrants from different countries or regions mix with local foods to give rise to new cultures. Social cohesion is strengthened by preparing special foods during festivals and celebrations. Eid, Puja, or New Year's foods bring people together.

The hospitality style of any city is revealed through the food they serve. A city becomes known in the country and abroad because of a particular food. Local food creates its own cultural identity and a sense of pride in the minds of the residents. Many tourists come from different regions who travel there just to taste the traditional food of a city, which is called "food tourism". Local restaurants, street food stalls and spice and raw material trade keep the city's economy alive. Therefore, food is called the living artisan of a city.
