My Diary Game: Home coming Anticipation [07/29/2026]

Hello Steemit Family! Welcome to Another Episode of my Dairy Game.😊 I'm still my humble self @luvboii067, and I'm really excited to share how my day went with you all.

Today was busy, but super productive.

I started the day with a word of prayer with my whole family. After prayers, we all went to our different rooms.

I was excited because today marked the end of the first phase of our Church program, "30 Days of Glory". For 30 Days straight, we've been in church daily to study God's word. And honestly, Dr. Abel Damina is one of the most powerful and intelligent preachers of the 21st century. I'm so grateful to have a pastor like him. We had an amazing time all through the 30 Days of Glory.

This Sunday we're kicking off a new program called "Home coming". Members of power City from different parts of the world will be travelling to Nigeria, right here in Akwa Ibom state, to fellowship together. It's basically going to be like a big get-together and it will last for a full week fo studying and learning God's word. I can already imagine the wonderful moments ahead I just can't wait.

While I was in my room, I started picking outfits for Homecoming. If you know me, I'm not really into Skinny wears. I love baggy jeans and baggy shirts. I found this black baggy pants and paired it with a black and white hoodie. Both were dirty so I soaked them in a bucket and started washing. That was my first chore for the day. I had planned to wash on Saturday. But the rain wouldn't let me. Thankfully the sun came out today. Washing those, plus other clothes took me over an hour.

After that, I started sweeping the house from the living room. I made the floor as spotless, arranged the couch, and even cleaned the window and glasses.

By then I was starving. Mom was already in the kitchen making rice and chicken sauce. And let me tell you it was delicious and spicy. After cleaning, I sat down to enjoy the meal. The food looked and tasted amazing "she's a good chef for real".

After breakfast, I took a shower, rested a bit, then streamed Davido's New album. He is one of the biggest names in the Afrobeat industry and he dropped He's new album today.

The Album is solid, it has so much potential to climb the billboard charts. I'm really impressed on how Davido has grown in his production and songwriting I felt proud. Despite the criticism on Social media, I'd still rate it 9.1/10 I enjoyed every track.

After listening, I hopped on my laptop and started producing a beat, inspired by the album. I made something really dope and classic with just my Laptop and headphones.

I was so hyped. I deserve my flowers lol. I spent hours crafting it and played it like I was the only one around at home 😅 time just flew.

Before I knew it, mom had made Atama soup for lunch. It's not my favorite, but today's own was perfect I actually enjoyed it. We all rested and got ready for the last day of our Church program. But unfortunately as soon as we were dressed. It started raining heavily. We thought it would just be a drizzle but it kept coming down so we changed our clothes and joined the service online. I was a bit disappointed because I really wanted to be there physically cause it's the final day of 30 Days of Glory but we still had a blessed time studying God's word at home. The service lasted for 3 hours.

For dinner, we ate the leftover soup.

All in all, it was a productive and fulfilling day. Thanks for stopping by! ❤️
