I am from Phulbari city of Dinajpur district of Bangladesh, my city has many types of food which are very famous in the surrounding cities.
Kalai bread:
Kalai bread is very famous in our city. It is made from kalai and uses very little flour. It is especially eaten as an afternoon snack and is usually eaten with various fillings and pork. It is generally more popular in Dinajpur and Rajshahi.
Party Sapta:
Pithapuli means the tradition of Bangladesh. Earlier, in rural towns, the festival of Pitha Puli means various types of pitha including puli, malpoa, bhapa pitha, chitai pitha, choi pitha, patisapata pitha.
Patisapata pitha is always popular because everyone likes to eat this pitha. It is made with rice gruel and milk khirsa.
Halim:
Halim is a food that is always on everyone's favorite list. This Halim is made with a few pulses, beef or mutton and a spicy and quick dish. It can be cooked at home very easily, but it is also eaten outside by everyone because it tastes delicious.

Kasa Mansa and Bhuna Khichuri are popular for all times and can be eaten at all times. This food is especially popular and famous during the rains. It's so delicious to eat spicy fried khichuri with lean beef and 3/4 poda dal.
What is the cultural importance of a city's food?
Whether it is a country or a foreign country, the taste and texture of food in all places is the same or the food of each place is different. The food of each place or city gives its cultural identity and explains its taste. Kalai roti, patisapta, haleem, kasha mas and bhuna khichuri are always on the favorite list of every person not only in my city but also in the country. These foods are so tempting that everyone likes to eat them and the foods are very famous. They portray the traditional cultural image of Bangladesh, these foods highlight the tradition. These foods are famous for their traditional cooking methods in any event or long chat with friends or in the hospitality of guests.
All these foods make family rituals more intense, relationships more profound.
Most of these foods are made with grains produced in Bangladesh.
It is made with rice, wheat, lentils, spices, chili, onion, garlic, ginger. All these foods are made with grains produced in our country, which are very fresh and healthy. These foods are delicious and tasty because all these foods are made using fresh grains. So in my city, Fulbari, these special foods are not only delicious but also very tempting and tasty which highlights the tradition and culture of our Bangladesh which highlights its own artistic craftsmanship. Bangladesh is an agricultural country where fresh grains are produced and proxy varieties are grown.
