Assalamu Alaikum. how are you all. I hope everyone is safe by the grace of God. I am also fine Alhamdulillah.I am participating SLS32-The Kitchen Diaries Week#4 15-Minute Hug[Flattened rice with yogurt ].Thank you @suboohi for this Grandma’s Recipe Remix challenge.

1-Prepare recipe.

Flattened rice1 cup
Yogurt1 cup
Milk2 cup
Mango1 pc
Banana1 pc
Nuts1 tbs
Raisins1 tbs

First, I wash a cup of Flattened rice thoroughly with water and soak it in water for a while. Once the Flattened rice is soaked in water, I use a strainer to squeeze out excess water.

Now I will take half a cup of yogurt in a bowl. Then I will whisk the yogurt a little and mix it well with the previously boiled and cooled milk.

Now I will mix the soaked Flattened rice in the milk and yogurt mixture. Then I will add chopped mango and banana to it. If anyone wants, you can use any fruit of your choice here. I have used seasonal fruits here.

Now I will finely chop some almonds to add to the yogurt Flattened rice . Once the almonds are chopped, I will sprinkle them on top. Once all the ingredients are well mixed, my Flattened rice with yogurt is ready to serve.

The Story Behind It.

The recipe that I have selected to participate in this contest today can be made in a very short time and with few ingredients. My whole family loves to eat this Flattened rice with yogurt recipe. Moreover, in our country, Bangladesh, the heat is currently intense. This Flattened rice with yogurt can be a healthy recipe in this heat. You can use it as a breakfast or dinner. It will give you peace in the heat and its health benefits are also quite good. I often make this quick recipe for lack of time.

3. Show Importance

Cooking is basically an art and the presentation style and method of this art is different for each person. And there are some recipes which take less time to make but are beneficial for our health and help us to suppress our hunger quickly. My family speciality is the recipes which I make in a short time for my kids including vegetable noodles, egg bread toast, latka khichdi, semai, pancakes.
