༻꧂Good Evening Steemians༻꧂

I hope you are all doing well. I really enjoy eating street food. Well making it at home is even better. Because it is fresh and hygienic. For this week's challenge. I prepare Black Chana Aloo Chaat. A simple and tasty snack. It can be made with easily available ingredients.

I like this chaat because of its spicy and tangy flavor. Well the combination of black chickpeas, potatoes and fresh vegetables makes it both delicious and filling. Well in this post I will share the ingredients, preparation process and final presentation of my homemade chaat.

I hope you enjoy my entry.

The Ingredients Required For This Recipe Is:

SRIngredients
1Chickpea One Kg
2Onion One Kg
3Tomato Half Kg
4Green Chillies Six To Seven

༻Step 1༻

First I soaked the black chickpeas in water overnight. Then in the morning I wash it with clean water. After washing I transfer to a cooking pot. I boiled them. Until they became soft and fully cooked. Well when the chickpeas boiled. I drained all the excess water. I left it aside to cool down completely. Well before using them in the chaat.

༻Step 3༻

When the chickpeas and potatoes is cooling. I started preparing the vegetables. First I took onions guys. I peeled them properly. After that I wash it with clean water. I chopped them into thin slices. When all the onions chopped. I placed them in a bowl. I kept aside to use later in the chaat.

Next I took tomatoes. I wash it thoroughly with clean water. After washing I cut them into small pieces. I made sure all the tomatoes were evenly chopped. So they could mix well with the other ingredients. When they were ready. I placed them in a separate bowl. I kept them aside for the chaat.

༻Step 8༻

༻꧂2. Favorite Street Food ?༻꧂

Well my most favorite street food is chana chaat. I love its crisp and delicious taste. The combination of gram, vegetables and chaat spices makes it very tasty.

Since childhood, whenever I used to go to market, chaat stalls would be seen and their aroma would attract me. It also has many fond memories of eating chaat with family and friends. Well especially with my sister. So it holds special significance for me.
IMG_20260804_183017_390.jpg

Although bazaar chaat has its own taste. I prefer to make it at home. Well the fresh and clean ingredients is used at home. This is why chana chaat is still my favorite street food dish.

༻꧂3. Show Convenience༻꧂

Yes guys street food is quite convenient for me. Street food is a good choice when you feel like eating something in a hurry. Well it is easily available and full of flavor.
IMG_20260804_182901_582.jpg

However I think it's much better to make street food at home. This way we can use clean and fresh ingredients and add spices as per our choice. This not only preserves the taste of the food but can also take care of health.

In my opinion, street food is very tasty and popular, but if it is prepared at home, it becomes safer, healthier and more satisfying.

Assalamu Alaikum! Dear friends, I hope you are doing well. I really enjoyed reading your writing. You have arranged each step of the black gram and potato chaat with such care that it feels like the smell and taste of the kitchen are floating before your eyes. Especially the part about sharing with neighbors is very heartwarming—food not only fills the stomach, but also makes relationships sweeter. I also enjoyed reminiscing about your favorite chana chaat, because food is associated with happy childhood memories and the smiles of loved ones. Best wishes to you, my friend.
