Salam Ya Hussain (A.S.) ❤️# A Heartfelt Tribute to the Great Sacrifice of Karbala. By @Sadiqahayat/27/6/2026
Assalamualaikum everyone,
I hope you are all fine and doing well. Alhamdulillah, I am also fine. Today, I want to talk about Muharram and the great sacrifices of Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the people of Karbala. Their courage and patience teach us to stand for truth .
🌙 Muharram: Remembering the Great Sacrifice of Karbala 🌙
During Muharram, many people join processions and attend religious gatherings. They remember Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the sacrifice of Karbala. It is a time to learn about patience, faith, and standing for what is right.
8th Muharram Processions 🌙
On the 8th of Muharram, people leave their homes early in the morning and gather at different Imam Bargahs and places. From there, the procession starts and moves through different streets. People from nearby areas keep joining it as it moves forward.
Men, women, children, and elderly all take part in it. Everyone comes together to remember Imam Hussain (A.S.) and the tragedy of Karbala. Along the way, water and food stalls are set up everywhere. People serve water and food, especially because of the hot weather, and also in memory of the time when water was stopped in Karbala.

Many people from villages and far areas also come to take part and they eat and drink from these stalls. It is all done as Esaal-e-Sawab .

At the end of the procession,
all groups from different places gather together at the main big Imam Bargah of the city.
There, they stand together and perform soz o salam, remembering the sacrifice of Karbala. After that, the gathering is completed peacefully and people slowly return to their homes.
Sacrifice for Islam 🕊️
The sacrifices made in Karbala were not just historical events, but a stand to protect Islam. Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his companions gave everything to save the true message of Islam and to stand against injustice.
The Tragedy of Karbala 🕊️
In the tragedy of Karbala, Imam Hussain (A.S.) and his family, including around 72 companions, were martyred. They were kept thirsty for many hours and were not given food or water. They faced extreme ظلم (oppression) and hardship, but they stayed firm on truth and Islam until the end.
