The Diary Game: Making Fufu for the family 25/04/2026

Hello steemit family! This is going to be a short read with photos from all the steps of preparations

So I went out for work errands yesterday and when I got back, my mum asked that I prepare fufu swallow as we have been eating garri all this while and I agreed and got to work.

^{when I got back from work} You maybe wondering what fufu is, well don't wonder anymore as I'm going to explain to you in a way you can understand it easily. Well Fufu is a kind of swallow gotten from fermented cassava and thereafter used in eating soups.

So firstly you put your already sieved wet fermented cassava in a bowl

Secondly I mix it properly and leave it in the bowl getting ready to mold it and cook.

Then I go ahead to add it to my already boiling pot of water on the fire.

I removed it from the fire to pound for the first time

I molded it again and added it back to the pot of boiling water

It boiled properly for some minutes, got properly cooked and I removed it and pounded properly.
