Spaghetti is a good recipe that is comforting to eat when someone in the family is sick, and it is what I often make at home when I am sick. Spaghetti can be prepared in different ways, which can be cooked or fried. As for me, I love to prepare my pasta with extra water in it and not completely dry.

Ingredients:

  • Spaghetti (Pasta)
  • Carrots
  • Green beans
  • Onion
  • Pepper
  • Crayfish
  • Groundnut oil
  • Maggi
  • Salt

Preparation steps:

Step 1 I start by preparing all the ingredients. First, wash all ingredients. After that, grind my crayfish and slice some onions separately.

Step 2 I place a pot on the fire with some water and cover the pot. Allow the water to boil before adding the spaghetti (pasta). Stir gently so that it does not gum together.

Step 4 I then allow the spaghetti (pasta) to boil for some minutes, then I turn it off and put it into a sieve to drain off the remaining water.

Step 5 I place the pot back on the fire and allow it to dry off the water, then I put some groundnut oil into the pot, add some sliced onions, and stir gently. Lower the flame.

Step 6 After that, I add sliced carrots and green beans, stir gently, and then add the ground crayfish and stir.

Step 7 At this point, I add some water to the mixture, add my Maggi and salt, cover the pot, and allow the mixture to boil before adding the spaghetti (pasta) to the mixture to cook.

How did You Make? (2 marks)

I make this recipe especially when I'm kind of sick. It was when I was recovering from my illness that I began craving spaghetti and forced myself to prepare it because I was badly craving it back then. However, I made the recipe and ate it with my loved ones.

Show Memories (2Marks)

There was a day I felt sick and was taken to the hospital, where I was given an injection. From the hospital, I then went home, and upon reaching home, I was offered food, which I ate, but requested spaghetti to eat. Everyone was like What is wrong with this girl.
