Still small =/= Noch ganz klein👹🍣🎎 Wonderful Japan ENG-GER

It’s been about a month since the rice was planted , and the vast lake-like landscape that could be seen on the many rice paddies has now slowly transformed into a huge green sea. The rice plants are still rather small, but it’s clear to see where they’re headed.

Toward the sky—and there’s still plenty of room to grow, but fortunately, there’s also plenty of time. The most important thing for now is that the rice plants have rooted well, which seems to be the case. And now things can keep going, and over the next few weeks, the fields should become even greener than now.

The warm weather and the upcoming rainy season will ensure that the little plants will grow enormously in height in no time and will soon be swaying merrily in the wind. Before this summer comes to an end as well and the harvesters bring everything back in from the fields.

I love this sight and enjoy being out and about these days. It just puts me in a good mood—something I am always in need of. That's why I'm already looking forward to my next drive through the countryside, which, fortunately, won't be too long in coming...

Jetzt ist es rund einen Monat her, dass der Reis bei uns ausgepflanzt wurde, und die weite Seenlandschaft, die man bis dahin auf den vielen Reisfeldern bewundern konnte, hat sich nun so langsam in ein grünes Meer verwandelt. Noch sind die Reispflanzen zwar eher klein, aber es ist deutlich zu sehen, wohin die Reise gehen soll.

Hoch nach oben, und dahin ist noch ordentlich Luft, aber zum Glück auch noch genug Zeit. Wichtig ist erst einmal, dass die Reispflanzen gut angewachsen sind, was es zumindest den Anschein hat. Und dann kann es jetzt weitergehen, und in den nächsten Wochen sollte es auf den Feldern noch viel grüner werden.

Das warme Wetter und die kommenden Regenzeit werden auch in diese Jahr dafür sorgen, dass die kleinen Pflanzen in kürzester Zeit enorm an Höhe zulegen werden und sich dann bald beschwingt im Wind wiegen werden. Bevor dann auch dieser Sommer zu Ende gehen wird und die Erntemaschinen alles wieder von den Feldern holen.

Ich mag diesen Anblick und bin in diesen Tagen gerne draußen unterwegs. Es macht einfach gute Laune - und die können wir alle doch immer gebrauchen. Von daher freue ich mich schon auf meine nächste Fahrt übers Land, die zum Glück gar nicht so lange auf sich warten lassen wird...
