My Cute Clay Art Doll — DIY Craft

Today I am sharing with you all how to make a very simple, easy and beautiful DIY clay art doll of kpop. I love to making different things with playing clay because it allows us to use our creativity in an easy way to making new things. I made this doll from different small parts and finally finished her dress, hair, face and shoes.

🧰 Required equipment

• Different colored soft clays
• Clay cutter or small stick
• White paper or clean work space
• Fine brush
• Black and other colored markers/paints

How to make ✨

Step 1: Head and body

First I made the doll's head out of light pink clay. Gently rounded it with the hands and made a small part for the neck at the bottom. Then prepared clay separately for the body. Then made the upper dress and lower part of the doll from white clay. Instead of keeping the clay too thick, it was slightly pressed and shaped according to the body.

Step 2: Making the Hand

Now I took two small pieces of pink clay and made the hands. Both hands were given almost the same length so that the doll's body looks balanced.

Now I made a jacket with black clay and applied fine yellow clay on its edges. This little yellow designing made the dress more beautiful.

Step 3: Making the Legs

In the next step, make two long legs out of pink clay. Try to keep both legs parallel and tuck them well under the body.

Step 4: Making the Shoes

Now make both shoes from white clay. Add a small yellow design to the shoes to match the color of the jacket.

Step 5: Making the hair

In this step I used purple clay. First make small sections and apply them to the head in order to form the hair. Also made a long braid at the back.

Step 6: Finishing the Face

Finally, carefully draw the eyes, eyebrows and smile on the face. After this little work, the doll's face started to look fuller and more beautiful.

🌷 My last creation

After completing all the parts my clay doll is ready. I especially liked her purple hair, black and yellow dress, and white shoes. The most fun I had in this job was putting the small parts together to create a complete character.

This DIY activity can be a good creative activity for both kids and parents. Working with clay gives us the opportunity to use patience, attention and our imagination.
