Materials for the drawing
- White embossed paper
- 4B pencil
- 2B pencil
- HB pencil
- Eraser
- Razor blade
Step 1
I began by drawing the head and face of the kids. I first drew the hair on the head the cheek and the lower jaw. I drew the eyes, the nose and the mouth. Lastly, I drew the ears. I used both HB and 2B pencils
Step 2
I drew the kid's left shoulder, the hand with two fingers folded inward and lastly the back of the kid. Here, I used an HB pencil.
Step 3
I sketched the head of the goat with the mouth on the cheek of the kid. I then sketched the legs of the boy which shows that he squats. I then drew the body of the kid. I used an HB pencil and traced some Parts using a 2B pencil.
Step 4
I drew the shoes worn by the kids. I also show that his second hand is hidden. I sketched with an HB pencil and then traced it with a 2B pencil.
Step 5
I completed the sketch of the goat which I started from the neck down to the back, the legs, stomach and the tail of the goat. I also sketched the eye and ears of the goat.
Step 6
I shaded the goat using strokes with a 2B pencil.
Step 7
I shaded the kid beginning with the three black lines on both legs of the shoes using a 4B pencil. I shaded the trousers and the shirt he put on using an HB pencil.
Step 8
I shaded the shadow of the goat and that of the kid. I also sketched the grasses and the ground level all using an HB pencil.
