Greetings dear friends! This week, I bring you the drawing of a lady resting on a couch with her hands behind her head. She has her hair packed and part of the hair spread on her chest. It is a pencil drawing and I believe you will all like it. Below are the details of the drawing.

Materials for the drawing

• White embossed paper
• 6B pencil
• 4B oencil
• 2B pencil
• Razor blade
• Eraser

Step 1
I began by sketching the forehead and part of the right cheek. I then drew the spectacles without their handle using an HB pencil.

Step 2
I drew the the eyes whichbis covered by the transparent glasses worn by the lady. I drew the eyelid and then shaded the eyebrow using an HB pencil.

Step 3
Here, I drew the nose of the lady and the mouth using an HB pencil.

Step 4
I shaded the black eyelids using a 6B and a 4B pencil and then shaded the area around the eye. I traced the eyeglases with a 2B pencil to make it dark. I also sketched the shape of her face beginning with the forehead, the left ear, the cheek and the lower jaw using an HB pencil. Lastly, I drew the hands of the glasses.

Step 5
I shaded the nose and the area around the nose. I also shaded the lips of the lady, the upper jaw and the left cheek using an HB and a 2B pencil.

Step 6
I completed the shading of the lady's face. I also shaded the eyeglasses, corrected the shading on the eyebrow and finally, I drew the eyelashes using an HB and 2B pencil.

Step 7
I sketched the hair on her head, drew her hand which she rested her head on, and lastly, drew her neck and the shirt she wore. I also drew part of the couch and the throw pillow she is resting on.

Step 8
I shaded her neck and chest using an HB pencil and blended it with a brush.

Step 9
I shaded the shirt she put on and her hand. I also shaded the couch using an HB and a 2B pencil.

Step 10
I shaded the hair on the lady's head showing how she arranged it. Part of the hair is packed at the back and the rest rests on her chest. I also shaded her ear. All this is achieved using a 4B pencil, and a 6B pencil.

Conclusion
I am grateful to God for being able to finish this drawing today. I actually started the drawing three days ago but was interrupted and was unable to complete it until now.
