Hello friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is well and healthy by the grace of God. I am @green015 from India. Anyway, today I present to you a new post.


week--21 || My Weekly Food Highlight

I always strive to create diverse content; and so, today I have returned to you with a brand-new post. Today, I will be presenting the best meals of my week, along with my thoughts and feelings regarding them. Food is always something fascinating. I extend my sincere thanks to @ngoenyi for organizing such a wonderful contest. So, let's get started---

Sunday(morning)

(Rice, fish, and Pea Ghugni)

This meal consists of Ghugni, rice, and fish cooked in mustard sauce. Its main ingredients include rice, fish, whole peas, bori (dried lentil cakes), and potatoes. However, these dishes can also be enjoyed with muri (puffed rice), luchi, or roti—though I personally ate them with rice on Sunday morning.

Monday(morning and afternoon )

(Rice, Eggs, Sweets and vegetable curry)

This meal consists of rice, a potato curry with Malabar spinach, a poached egg, and a sweet treat. Its main ingredients were rice, Malabar spinach, potatoes, and eggs. Although I had the rice and spinach curry on Monday morning, I ate the poached egg and the sweet in the afternoon. These two items pair particularly well with tea in the evening.

Tuesday(noon)

(Rice,fish and Fried Vegetables)

This meal consists of rice, fish curry with mustard, and sautéed vegetables. Its ingredients included rice, whole mustard seeds, Rui fish, carrots, and potatoes. These sautéed vegetables can be eaten with Roti, Luchi, or Paratha. I had this for lunch on Tuesday.

Wednesday(afternoon)

This meal consisted of rice, ghugni, a vegetable curry, and a Rui fish curry. Its main ingredients were rice, papaya, potatoes, chickpeas, fish, and ghugni. These curries can be eaten with puffed rice or roti; however, I prefer to eat them with rice. I had this meal on a Wednesday afternoon.

Thursday(night)

(Rice, Lentils, and Tomato Chutney)

This meal consisted of rice and lentils. Its ingredients included rice, red lentils, and tomatoes. It can be eaten accompanied by puffed rice. Moreover, I had this meal on Thursday night.

Since I currently reside in a hostel, I am required to pay the meal charges at the beginning of each month in order to eat. Furthermore, there are times when—even if I lack the inclination—I am compelled to consume these meals against my personal preference. Nevertheless, all things considered, I enjoyed these meals throughout the entire week. As it is hostel food, a certain degree of monotony inevitably persists; yet, despite this, some of the dishes were quite tasty and nutritious.
