Mary is a young girl who has refused to give up on her dream. Before sunrise, she would wake up, pack the bread that she usually put in a basket and her cold drinks, and walk through the busy streets in her town selling them. She is someone that her family looks up to for money and support, and she was just 21 years old.

Her father fell ill, and her mother struggled every day to make ends meet, so she had no other option than to sell drinks and bread on a busy street. People looked down on her simply because she was a street hawker. Most people laughed at her worn-out slippers and faded clothes that she wore. Other people believed that such a young girl shouldn't be selling on the street.

With all that people are saying about her, she never allowed their words to break her spirit. When she was selling her bread and drinks, she always greeted every one of her customers with a smile, believing that every sale she made brought her one step closer to her dream.

Most of the time she sold her drinks and bread under the hot sun. At night she studied with borrowed books, as she was always determined to complete her education. Whenever Mary felt like giving up, she would be reminded that difficult seasons don't last forever.

After a few years, her determination paid off. Then Mary had saved enough money to enroll in a vocational training program, where she learned about fashion design. After completing the training, she opened a small tailoring shop in the town.

She started making and selling beautiful dresses, which people started liking.
