The Diary Game || 30 July 2026 || A Wonderful Day and Some Extraordinary Moments Spent with Elder Brothers.

Dear Steemian friends!
Assalamu Alaikum! I hope by the grace of Allah, you are all well and healthy. Alhamdulillah, I am also doing well with my family. Life is all about daily routines, and finding some beautiful moments in between. Today, July 30th, I am sharing with you on the pages of my diary how I spent the entire day on Thursday and which memories remain special to me. I hope you like it. Let's see how the day went.

Like every day, I woke up this morning to the alarm of my mobile. I woke up, quickly freshened up and left the house to start a new day of work. Before entering the office, I went to our local market. I thought I would have breakfast outside; so I had my breakfast with my favorite chicken roast khichdi from Haji Biryani House. After breakfast at Petpur, I reached the office by 8 am.

As usual, upon reaching the office, I understood the list of work and instructions for today from my supervisor. Then, maintaining the quality of work with great attention and efficiency, I started working towards my specific target. After working continuously from 8 am to 10 am, I saw that there was no more big work to do. So, I took permission from the floor in-charge and left for home before noon.

I came home from office and freshened up, and it was almost 2 pm when I got home to sort out some urgent work. After that, I went to bed to relax and had a good sleep. I woke up at 5 pm and freshened up and had some light breakfast.

The Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 33 is currently underway. In the third episode of this week, Suboohi Ma'am has organized a very nice competition—the topic of which is—"SCS-33 'From My Kitchen to Your Plate' Week #3: Children in the Kitchen". Seeing the name of the competition, I decided that I would definitely participate in it.

According to the rules of the competition, a small child must be present during the entire preparation of this recipe. To participate in this competition, I prepared all the ingredients for making a delicious pound cake in the kitchen in advance. Then, I started making the cake step by step with my elder brother's beloved son. I especially enjoyed seeing how enthusiastically my nephew helped me with every step of the cake making process. Even the touch of a small hand made the pound cake we made even more special. Finally, our delicious pound cake was baked and ready to serve!

I was enjoying my homemade pound cake with my family, when at around 7:30 pm, an elder brother from the office called me. He asked me to join him for dinner at Sultan Dine in Narayanganj. However, I was also very happy to receive this wonderful arrangement from another elder brother from our office. I quickly got ready and went to the local market. Then we all gathered there and left for Sultan Dine located in Balur Maidan, Narayanganj at around 8 pm. Finally, we reached Sultan Dine within 15-20 minutes and everyone entered inside.

We looked at the menu card of Sultan Dine and ordered our favorite dishes. The dishes we ordered were Mutton Kachchi Biryani, Chicken Roast, Jali Kebab, Polao, Beef Bhuna, Borhani, and Phinni. However, it took about 30 to 40 minutes for the dishes we ordered to arrive at the table. And during this long waiting time, we spent chatting with each other, laughing and capturing some beautiful moments of ourselves. This time spent with the elder brothers was really very enjoyable.

After our long wait, finally, our table was served with hot and delicious food. And especially the taste and quality of the food here was really great; we all ate our fill with satisfaction. After our meal, we rested there for some time, then paid the bill for the food and then we all came out of Sultan Dine together.

Since the Shaheed Minar was right next to Sultan Dain, we decided to sit there for a while. We entered the Shaheed Minar and ordered hot green tea with lemon from a nearby tea shop. After getting the tea in hand and sipping it, the second part of our chat began. While we were drinking tea there, we didn't realize that it was 10:30 PM amidst the stories and laughter. After we all finished the tea from the Shaheed Minar, we all headed home.

I returned to my familiar territory in our area from Narayanganj Chashara by 11 pm. However, before entering the house, I bought some food and favorite things for my little son's and elder brother's daughter from a shop in the market. Then, when I came home, I washed my hands and face, freshened up, and spent some time with my family. Since I had eaten a heavy meal with my elder brothers outside, I didn't eat anything else at night. Then, I went straight to my room, finished some tasks on my mobile phone, and stretched my tired body on the bed and fell into a deep sleep. This is how my busy, happy, and wonderful day spent surrounded by loved ones passed. I am ending today's diary here. May everyone be well and healthy!
