SLC31-W6 | THE GREEN JOURNEY | Sustainable Legacy.

Our Bangladesh is an agricultural country. Our farmers grow different types of crops in the fields. That's why we get to eat different types of fruits, starting from rice. They work hard all day long, working hard in the fields.

I went to the village in the winter. It was very cold at that time. Even on that winter day, the farmers were working in the fields in the cold. They were raising seedlings from the land, ignoring the cold, to feed their families. The seedlings were to be planted in other fields. They first raised the rice seedlings. Then in the morning, they came to the house of the relatives and had food. After that, after resting for a while, they took the rice seedlings to the land where they would plant them.

A farmer scattered all the seedlings in rows on the land, leaving a little space. Then all the farmers went down to the field and started planting seedlings. One reason for spacing the seedlings is that they can sow the seedlings in several rows with a seedling load or a seedling. In this way, they plant the seedlings in rows step by step.

They stand on the land all day and plant the seedlings. At the end of the day, for some money. With which they feed their families. But we, the rich, look at them with neglect. The fact is that they plant these seedlings, agricultural production is possible in Bangladesh. We can buy rice from the market for less money. We can store rice at home. So our country is self-sufficient in agriculture.
