Daily Art — Day 2

I said I had many sketches to upload. Welcome to daily Art - day 2

I made a side portrait of an Africa girl. And I'll be taking y'all through the process.

I started the drawing as usual with a faint sketch using a black biro .
I've been doing both pencil and pen sketch recently.
After doing the sketch of the features; the nose, mouth etc.

I sketched out the hair and shaded it as well.
The technique I uses in shading the hair was all hatching and coiling.
The hair didn't take much of my time as was done with it few minutes after I began.

Now, the body of the art took time a bit, from the glasses alone which I had to be careful while shading it , so I won't go off and shade the face.
After shading and detailing the glasses, I shaded the face using cross hatching method.
It was just going to be a rough sketch, so I didn't blend it.

After shading the face, I sketched out the suite, did a rough shading on it,
I detailed all part , highlight some areas and this was the final look.
