Hello my people, how're y'all doing today? I guess everyone is doing well. Today content is all about showcasing my culinary skills to y'all. If you've been following up on my page, you'll definitely remember where i mentioned cooking to be my favorite hobby. I find so much joy and fun in cooking and i'm always motivated to try out new recipes. The picture below is one among lots of things i've tried out so far during my leisure.

I'm very sure you're wondering what the hell is this right? This is not your regular snack like Puff Puff, Mince Pie, Doughnut, Sausage roll etc., that are being processed from your regular baking flour.

I bring to you an International Luxury Garri Crunchies made from dried imported Garri Ijebu. A round of applause for my product please.

When i tell you what you're looking at was never made with flour but with our well known Luxurious Groceries a.k.a Garri Ijebu, you'll never believe. You love how smooth it looks right? I'll explain how i came about that, but before then I'll list out every ingredient i used

Ingredients
  1. Garri
  2. Sugar
  3. Salt (Little Quantity)
  4. Grinded Pepper often known as Atagigun
  5. Egg
  6. Milk
PROCESS
  • I started with the normal process of making Eba, boiled water and mixed the garri, milk, salt, sugar and pepper altogether in a separate bowl before adding them into the already boiled water. I stirred continuously till my eba was formed, i then proceed to add the raw eggs into the eba. I stirred them altogether and made sure it was in a solid but not a sticky form.

After my Eba was ready, i cleaned up my stainless tray and rubbed every part of it with groundnut oil to prevent the eba from being sticky while making doughs or kneading. I made some dough, made some as Mince Pie and also made some in a triangular shape.

After everything was ready, i made sure to rub them with oil before deep frying , which you can see below as the end product. Although they might not look aesthetically pleasing probably because i fried every single form of aesthetic out of them.

Sarcasm aside, they tasted so delicious, spicy, tasty and crunchy, and i believe that wasn't bad for a first timer though knowing fully well I'm going to do better than this next time.

You need to try this at home with your family too
