A Difficult Time for My Family: Seeking Your Blessings and Support for My Daughter's Upcoming Surgery.

I hope you are all doing well. Today, I come to you with a very heavy heart. As a father, I want to share the immense emotional pain and anxiety I have been enduring for the past two years.

My beloved daughter, Elma ( 10 years old) has been suffering from a severe tonsil infection for nearly two years now. In the last year alone, her tonsils became infected about 7 to 8 times. Every single time, she had to be put on high dose antibiotics. Honestly, whenever my daughter was in pain or burning with a fever, I was gripped by overwhelming worry. I rushed her to the doctors repeatedly. However, every time, the doctors would prescribe antibiotics, allergy medications, and nasal drops, trying to manage the tonsils with medicine. But my daughter never truly recovered. She had a persistent fever, and day by day, she grew weaker and more ill.

To make matters worse, about three months ago, we got her thyroid tested due to her deteriorating health. The test came back positive for a thyroid condition. This news shattered our family, and her medical treatment became even more complex. Managing both tonsil infections and thyroid issues was incredibly difficult for my little girl. Thankfully, with the doctors guidance, we have managed to bring her thyroid under control, and she takes her medication regularly.

However, our battle is not over. Recently, her tonsils became severely infected once again. This time, we decided to consult a specialist surgeon. After reviewing her medical history and current condition, the doctor concluded that medicine is no longer a permanent solution. He has recommended immediate surgery, which is scheduled to take place within the next 10 days.

Honestly, the amount of pain my daughter is going through right now has become unbearable for me to witness as a father. Sometimes her tonsils swell so severely that she struggles to breathe through her nose and has to gasp for air through her mouth. When she writhes in agonizing pain, I feel utterly helpless. All of this has left me completely shattered and emotionally exhausted.

When the doctor reviewed her thyroid reports and made the final decision to perform the surgery within the next 10 days, I initially felt a sense of relief, thinking that my daughter might finally get riddance from this prolonged suffering. However, the very next moment, when I heard about the estimated cost of the surgery, I was hit by another wave of anxiety. Including hospital fees and surgical expenses, the total cost is expected to exceed 40,000 BDT. For a middle class man, arranging such a large amount of money all of a sudden is incredibly challenging, and this financial burden is causing me sleepless nights.

Standing at this difficult crossroads, I felt that I should share this crisis with the friends and community where I have been working dedicatedly for the past 6 years. I consider this platform to be my extended family. Therefore, after completing all the initial hospital preparations and the necessary pre-surgery medical tests, I have come here to share my story with you.
