Daughter Elma's successful tonsil surgery and a father's battle: A request for prayers from Steemit friends.
Assalamu Alaikum. Dear Steemit friends, I hope you are all well. Today I have come to share with you a very emotional and comforting news from my life.
Many of you know that my beloved daughter Elma was suffering from a serious tonsil problem for a long time.
In the past one year, her tonsils got infected about seven to eight times. I constantly sought help from doctors, they repeatedly gave her antibiotics and various medicines, but in a year she did not recover at all rather, her physical condition was getting worse day by day. In the end, her tonsils had become so large that she was having difficulty breathing properly. Due to the lack of adequate oxygen supply, she was mentally collapsing and her education had also completely stopped.
As a middle class father, it is beyond words to express how painful it is to see this suffering of her child. I tried everything I could, went door to door to doctors in different places. Finally, seeing no other option, I decided to get the operation done. I arranged for her operation in a big hospital in Mymensingh city. The cost of the treatment was very high. Although it was difficult, I withdrew steem tokens by powering down from my Steemit account and combined some of my own savings to cover the expenses.
Yesterday at around 4 pm, my daughter's successful operation was completed and her tonsils were removed. Alhamdulillah, she is now very healthy. Today she has regained full consciousness and has started eating light liquid food.
A humble request to my dear friends of the Steemit family, all of you please pray for my innocent girl from the bottom of your heart, so that she can recover completely and come back to us happily.
